Palabras Mágicas makes weekly Spanish vocabulary practice something your child will actually look forward to.
Designed for kids in Spanish immersion programs, the app turns each week's word list into a series of five skill-building games. Start with a quick memory challenge, unscramble letters, listen and spell, write original sentences, then finish with a timed reading race. Each game builds on the last, reinforcing the same words in different ways so they really stick.
5 Games, 1 Word List
Memoria Rápida — A word flashes on screen, then disappears. Can your child spell it from memory?
Letras Revueltas — Scrambled letter tiles are laid out on screen. Tap them in the right order to spell the word. Simple, satisfying, and great for visual learners.
Dictado — The app reads a word out loud. Your child types what they hear. A slow playback button gives them a second chance to catch every sound.
Constructor de Oraciones — Kids write three original sentences using the weekly words. The app checks for capital letters, punctuation, and even rewards creativity like using adjectives or fitting in extra vocabulary words.
Carrera de Lectura — A 60-second reading race using short Spanish stories. The app listens as your child reads aloud and tracks their words per minute, with a personal best to beat each week.
