Paws Near Me isn't open to everyone, and that's the point. Viewing other dogs on the live map requires an invite code from a verified member of the community — someone already on the app who can vouch for you. Once you're in, you get your own code to bring in the people you trust.
New to the app? You'll start by connecting with the person who invited you. Once they accept your dog's friend request, you're verified and the full community opens up — no forms, no waiting, no ID uploads. Just a real trust chain, built dog by dog.
Don't know anyone on the app yet? Ask around at your local park, vet, or breed community, or introduce yourself to our beloved matron @echothatwolf on social media and she'll be able to vouch for you (if she thinks you're sound ;-) ).
