This is a bait and switch app. First, there is a bug where the text of the book becomes upside down and backwards, but that is fixed if you avoid “simulation” setting. Worse, the two books I have read both stop mid-story after 10-13 chapters and become completely different stories also mid-storyline. I paid a subscription fee for a book that should be over 200 chapters but stopped mid-story at chapter 13. Then I tried another book and exact same issue after 10 chapters. I truly believe this app is a scam. They sell you on long books and subscriptions but the books you want are only short stories that remain unfinished. At this time I can’t submit feedback per book (due to guest account?) so I can’t tell the company nor other readers of the issues. Total scam or complete incompetence, you choose.

Yet another book app that only lets you read hundreds-of-chapters-long novels if you pay a fee per (very short) chapter, totaling sometimes well over $100 for one novel you don’t even own in the end. There is not one single romance novel on this earth that is worth that much just to read, particularly ones as fundamentally check-your-brain-at-the-door silly as the novels available from this app. I’m all for a fun, don’t-think-too-hard-about-it read, but I’m not going to tell people it’s okay to waste so much money just for the right to read them, especially in this economy.

Most story apps like this have the exact same price so I’m not surprised by the high price for a subscription however, each of these novels start with a short novel that matches the novel description and then turns into a completely different book. It’s just completely false advertisement. Search feature inside the app is not that great. It’s difficult to filter through for the genres but honestly the biggest thing for me is the book you’re reading is not what the synopsis is for the synopsis covers may be the first 10 chapters and then you have 200 chapters of a different story.

I wish I read the reviews first. I normally don’t bother with the reviews, but man, this takes the cake! I downloaded the app, paid for a subscription to be able to continue reading. The story stops after a few extra chapters. It changes to a completely different, unrelated story! Okay, I try again with a new story ranked as #1. Same thing! Worse, it looks like it was written by AI and not even proofread. All the “At , the system crashed. At , Nathan called…”. Horrible! If I can rate it a zero, I would!
