About VeteranAI: VeteranAI is an AI-assisted companion for US military veterans filing VA disability claims. Our app helps veterans organize their disabilities, track symptoms over time, parse their VA medical and decision documents. A direct-to-VA filing integration is on our roadmap. We’ve helped over 30,000 veterans get the help they deserve. Voice Features: The app uses on-device speech recognition (iOS SFSpeechRecognizer) for voice input in the chat screen, and AVSpeechSynthesizer for text-to-speech playback of Six's responses. Microphone and Speech Recognition permissions are requested only when the veteran taps the mic button. Both are optional; the app is fully functional via text input. How to use VeteranAI: Create account, you may use social auths/apple or email. If you pick email you will receive an OTP. The default landing tab is "Six" (chat). Tap a suggestion chip or type a message to interact with Six. Tap the mic icon next to the send button to test voice input (grant permissions when prompted). Under any assistant response, tap "Listen" to test text-to-speech. The "Disabilities" tab shows the veteran's logged conditions. Tap any card to see the Build / Generate / Review tabs. The "Symptoms" tab lets you log a new symptom entry using the gesture-based severity slider. The "Profile" tab contains account settings and preferences.
