nuck nuck. is a collection of cards about Bitcoin, money and freedom – and about thinking itself. The front carries a quote with its source, the back a question. You read, answer, capture a thought and sign. Each signature links to the last and becomes part of your chain.
HOW IT WORKS
The home screen. Suggestions are waiting for you. One fits the card you signed last, the others come from other series. After every signature, new ones are ready. Swipe through, turn a card over, or open a whole series.
The back. A question, a slider with five steps, room for your thought. If you would rather speak, record a voice note and the app writes it down.
Signing. Two taps and the card is signed: with date, time, Bitcoin block height, price and a running number. What is signed stays as it is.
The chain. Every signature carries a SHA-256 hash that includes the hash of the one before. Your chain grows link by link, starting with Nº 001, the genesis. The calendar shows the days you signed. Insights show your chain in numbers: signatures, active days, series by series.
No daily limit. Any card can be signed at any time, a second and a third time too. Every signature counts on its own.

Every quote names its author and source. Tap the text to switch between German and English – and, for 27 quotes, to the Latin, Greek, French or Danish original. Tap the name to see who said it. Keep the cards you want to return to.

YOUR DATA
No account. No ads. No tracking.
Cards, thoughts and recordings live on your device. If you want, iCloud syncs them through your own account. You can create a full backup as a ZIP file at any time. Without iCloud or a backup, deleting the app deletes your chain.
Block height and price come from mempool.space, without any information about you. Microphone and speech recognition are optional, and you can keep speech recognition on your device. The app sends nothing to the developer.
