Community faster and more reliable • Feed and maps load instantly: the app keeps its own copy of this year's sightings on your device. Time filters and map regions switch without waiting. • No more empty community screens or endless spinners. • The map now shows all sightings, including distant regions and the "This year" filter. • Your own finds appear in the list and on the map right away, deleted ones disappear immediately. • The "New sightings" hint shows new finds directly and tells you when the community is currently overloaded. • Bird friends, follows and received hearts persist across restarts. • Pull-to-refresh no longer clears existing entries when it fails. My Birds • New album layouts: grid, small tiles or slider, selectable from the menu in the top right. • Photos load more smoothly and the crop no longer shifts after loading. • Search and species selection respond faster. • Bird descriptions in English for devices not set to German. Recording • The lock screen display stays reliably up to date while recording. • Stuck recording widgets are cleaned up on the next launch.
