New Features - New Dive Computers Supported: Mares Sirius L, Heinrichs Weikamp OSTC 5, OSTC Nano, and OSTC cR, Seac Tablet (BLE), Halcyon Symbios HUD, Halcyon Symbios Handset, and Cressi Goa, Cartesio, Leonardo 2.0, and Donatello. - GPS Location — More Dive Computers: BlueDive can now automatically capture entry and exit GPS coordinates when syncing from a wider range of computers over Bluetooth, including Heinrichs Weikamp OSTC, Divesoft Freedom, DiveSystem iDive, and Halcyon Symbios in addition to Shearwater. Both coordinates are saved to your logbook and shown on the dive map. New Features - Dive Computer Clock Sync: BlueDive can now automatically set your dive computer's clock to match your device's current time and time zone after each sync. Enable "Sync device clock" in the sync screen — on by default. Useful after travel or daylight saving time changes. Not all dive computers support this feature; unsupported devices are handled silently. - Gear Details from Dive Overview: Tapping any gear chip on the dive Overview tab now opens the full equipment detail, where you can view service history, edit the item, and log maintenance. Long-press still enters remove mode as before. - Statistics — Overview: The Statistics view now opens with an Overview section showing your lifetime totals at a glance: total dives, bottom time, unique sites, longest streak of consecutive dive days, countries visited, and air consumed. Respects your active diver selection and any filters applied. - Duplicate Detection on Import: BlueDive now checks for duplicate dives before completing any import. When duplicates are found, a review sheet appears showing a count of dives in the file, duplicates detected, and new dives ready to add, along with each matched dive's site, date, depth, duration, and which logbook entry it matches. The reason for each match is also shown: same dive computer ID, or same date, depth, and duration. From the sheet you can skip duplicates and import only the new dives, import everything anyway, or cancel entirely. Matching uses two strategies: an exact match on the dive computer's unique identifier when available, and a heuristic match on date (within 3 minutes), max depth (within 1 m), and duration (within 2 minutes) — with additional validation on serial numbers and site names to avoid false positives. - Marine Life — Quantity Ranges: Sightings now use REEF.org-style abundance categories instead of an exact count: Single, Few (2–10), Many (11–100), and Abundant (100+). Pick a range from a tile selector when adding or editing a sighting. Each sighting in the dive detail shows the species name and range on separate lines for easier reading. The Marine Life view now shows a breakdown per species — for example "3× Abundant · 1× Few" — so you can see how consistently a species appeared across dives. Existing sightings are automatically mapped to the correct range. Improvements - Dives downloaded via Bluetooth now automatically use the diver name associated with the dive computer in your gear list. If no matching computer is found, the profile name is used as before. - The Records Wall has moved into Statistics. All your records are still there — just in one place now. - Added a community contributors section to About Us.

New Features - Marine Life: a new view listing every species you've logged, ranked by sighting frequency, with total sightings and last seen date. Tap a species to see the dives where it was recorded. Dives with sightings show a fish icon in the dive list and on map cards. - Certifications — Diver Name: Associate a diver name with each certification, with autocomplete from your full diver history. A filter lets you view one diver's certs at a time. - Certifications — Grouped by Agency: Certifications are organised by agency (PADI, TDI, SSI, etc.) in collapsible sections. Bug Fixes - Fixed an issue where merging two dive segments could produce incorrect tank pressure data when dives had matching or out-of-order timestamps. Multi-tank setups (doubles, sidemount, stage) now correctly carry the start pressure from the first segment and the end pressure from the second segment for every tank. The merged dive also now captures the correct exit GPS coordinates and accurately totals CNS oxygen exposure across both segments. - Fixed an issue where swiping to delete a dive while a search filter or sort order was active would delete the wrong dive. The correct dive is now always deleted.

New Features - BlueDive now runs natively on Mac via "Designed for iPad" — sheets open at a proper page size, date pickers display as full calendars, and navigation buttons have larger click targets throughout. - Swiping between dives is more responsive. - Minor layout fixes in the filter sheet. - Known Devices now shows the hardware serial number for each device in both the Known Devices list and the active scanner list. - A new Filter unused tanks toggle in Settings → Bluetooth Import removes phantom tank entries on import, keeping only the gases that were actually used during the dive. Some dive computers report all configured gas slots even when only one gas was used — an Aqualung i300C on a single-gas dive, for example, always reports 3 gas slots. The filter uses dive profile and header data to identify which gases were actually breathed. Affected brands: Aqualung, Oceanic, Sherwood, HW OSTC, Cressi, DeepSix, Deepblu, Oceans, McLean. Turn the toggle off if you dive with a configured-but-unused tank such as a pony bottle or bailout cylinder. The toggle is off by default and resets with Reset Preferences. Improvements - Tank material and format values — such as Steel, Aluminium, Single tank, and Twinset — now follow the in-app language setting. When the app is set to French, these values appear in French (Acier, Aluminium, Cylindre simple, Bi-bouteille, etc.) throughout the dive detail Gas tab, the tank template list, and the add/edit sheets. Stored data, XML exports, and PDF logbooks continue to use the original English values. - Bluetooth sync reliability has been improved for Aqualung, Oceanic, and Sherwood dive computers using the Pelagic protocol (such as the Aqualung i300C). The app now retries the protocol handshake on the live Bluetooth link instead of disconnecting and reconnecting, which caused silent failures. Most connections that previously required multiple retries or a 30-second wait now succeed on the first tap. No change to sync behaviour for Shearwater, Suunto, Scubapro, Mares, or other brands. - Model override is now saved permanently. When you manually select a dive computer model, that selection will be used on every future sync, even after restarting the app. - The Download All Dives option is now available directly from the Known Devices screen, not just the main Bluetooth scanner. Bug Fixes - Fixed Oceanic and Aqualung dive computers (such as the i300C) re-downloading all dives on every sync due to a fingerprint size mismatch. Only new dives will be downloaded after the first sync.

New Features - Your dive log now tracks both where you entered the water and where you exited. Entry and exit coordinates are displayed separately in the Site Details tab, each with their own map pin. - The dive map has a new Entry / Exit toggle — switch to Exit view to plot where dives ended. - Shearwater dive computers automatically record your exit GPS coordinates during Bluetooth import. - Entry and exit coordinates can be edited manually in Site Details. BlueDive now reads the first and last valid pressure reading from the profile samples automatically. Improvements - Reset Preferences and Erase All Local Data now also clear the selected diver filter, returning the dive list to "All Divers" after either action. - Bluetooth duplicate detection has been improved. BlueDive can now correctly tell apart dives from two divers who entered the water at the same time on the same dive computer model — syncing now verifies the device serial number and fingerprint before deciding a dive already exists in your logbook. Dives previously imported from MacDive, UDDF, or BlueDive XML files are also handled correctly and will continue to be recognised as duplicates when syncing the same computer via Bluetooth. - Bluetooth connection timeout has been extended to give more time to accept iOS pairing dialogs. - Auto-reconnect reliability has been improved for dive computers that need time to clean up after a failed connection. - Bluetooth connection reliability has been improved for Aqualung, Oceanic, and Sherwood dive computers sharing the same chipset (such as the Aqualung i300C). If the dive computer needs a moment to wake up its Bluetooth radio, BlueDive will automatically retry. Bug Fixes - Fixed Shearwater dive computers getting stuck on "Sent Dives" after a successful sync. The app now properly sends the disconnect command and waits for it to reach the dive computer before closing the Bluetooth connection. - Fixed an issue where first-time Bluetooth pairing would fail immediately after displaying the pairing code. The app now waits long enough for you to confirm the code on your dive computer — this affected devices that require manual confirmation, such as the Suunto Eon Core. - Fixed a rare crash that could occur immediately after a successful sync. - Improved compatibility when a dive computer exposes multiple Bluetooth channels.

New Features - Decompression dives now show a dedicated Deco overlay on the dive chart. Enable it with the new Deco toggle button to see orange shading during mandatory decompression phases and diamond markers at each planned stop depth with its required duration. Deco stop depths in the Gas tab now respect your preferred unit setting. - You can now swipe left or right from the screen edge to move to the next or previous dive without going back to the list. - Dive pins on the map now cluster when zoomed out. Tap a cluster to zoom in and split it, or see a list when dives share the same location. - The same-location list adapts its height to the number of dives and scrolls when there are more than 3. Tapping the map or another pin dismisses the list. The map stays scrollable while the list is open. - You can now filter the Records Wall, My Trips, Statistics, and the Calendar Heatmap by diver. A dropdown in the toolbar of each window lets you select any diver in your logbook, or view everything at once with "All Divers." Your selection is remembered and shared across all windows. - Tapping a dive in My Trips or a record card on the Records Wall now opens the full dive detail, so you can view, edit, and explore any dive directly from those screens. Improvements - The Gas tab now always shows the tank selector dropdown, even when a dive has only one tank, for a more consistent experience. - You can now edit a marine life sighting directly — tap any creature chip to update its name or quantity. - The marine life name field now shows autocomplete suggestions based on creatures you've recorded in previous dives, in both the Add and Edit sheets. - Each filter category (Country, Diver, Dive Type, Gas Type, Tags) now includes a None option to show only dives where that field has no value set. - The depth filter has been replaced with Min. and Max. fields so you can filter dives within a precise depth range. Values are swapped automatically if entered in the wrong order. - The Reset button is now hidden when no filters are active. When active, it shows how many filters and/or sort options are in effect so you know what will be cleared. - On iPhone, a Done button now appears above the keyboard when editing depth filter fields. - Chip rows with many filter options now fade at the right edge to indicate more choices are available by scrolling. Multi-tank support — BlueDive now supports dives with multiple tanks. Whether you're diving sidemount, carrying a stage or deco cylinder, or using a twinset with a pony, each tank is tracked individually — pressure, gas mix, RMV, and SAC alongside combined values for the full dive. Usage times from your dive computer are used when available; sidemount tanks are always calculated as simultaneous. Safety disclaimer — A safety disclaimer screen now appears at first launch, before the welcome wizard, and requires explicit acknowledgement before using the app. Redesigned toolbar — The top-right toolbar on the main screen has been reorganised. A new + button groups all dive-entry actions in one place: add a dive manually, sync from a Bluetooth dive computer, or import a dive file.
