Enchanted Reads 3.1 — your Today, your way. New cards on your Today screen in Reading: • A strip at the top with your reading session, a live timer and today’s goal — “Today: 12 of 30 min”. Tap it to open the timer. • The streak card shows the freezes you have in reserve and celebrates with you when your streak grows. • Friends’ activity: your friends’ latest reading, right on Today. • Daily picks: a book that is already in your library opens straight away. • Weekly insights: a peek at your reading week. • Arrange and hide the cards on your Today screen, or reset them to the default. Your layout follows you to every device. • Today opens faster: each card appears as soon as it is ready. • No more unexpected sign-outs: a dropped connection or a brief server hiccup now keeps you signed in. • Faster, more reliable servers, and grouped notifications now reach you as they should.

Enchanted Reads 3.0 — the Living Grimoire. Enchanted Reads has a new binding. Every screen was redrawn, and everything you had is still here. • Fifteen seasonal themes, each with its own living particles, in light and dark. Follow the calendar or pin your favourite. • Your library as shelves, spines or a grid, with bookcases you arrange by hand. • Every book opens to eight ribbon tabs — characters, quotes, tropes, gallery and more. Character cards open to a full-screen portrait. • A reading timer with ambient sounds, a reading fire that keeps your streak warm, a journal and daily quests. • On iPhone, your session on the Lock Screen and home-screen widgets in the new style. • On Apple Watch, your current book, the reading timer and quick session logging, right on your wrist. • The Realm World feels more lived-in and keeps your device cooler. • On iPad and Mac, books and the book form open as full pages, and layouts work in landscape. • Series and collections show how far you are — 3 of 7 read — with your average rating and, where there is one, the community average. Filter and sort by rating; the books you have read are marked inside. • One search for your books, series, collections, tropes, genres and the catalog, and every result opens. Found a catalog book you already own? Open book takes you to it. • Pop-ups and sheets in a seasonal ornamental frame over a blurred background — one for each of the fifteen seasons. • A new welcome tour — replay it anytime in Settings — and new page guides for 29 screens behind the ? button. • Report content and block readers, to keep the community safe. • You can now delete your account yourself, in Settings. • Smoother scrolling on the Spines shelves, and less work for your battery.

Seasonal events have come to your Realm. For a limited time an event appears with its own countdown, a board of quests to work through, and standings that show how you compare with other readers. Join from the banner, or dismiss it — it will not ask again. Anything you collect while an event is running is now marked in your Satchel, so a seasonal find is still recognisable long after the event has closed. Also in this release: • Share your reading profile and whoever opens the link sees your books, reviews and streak straight away, without installing anything. • Links you share now carry a preview card instead of a bare address. • Reduce Motion is respected on five more screens. • Reading logged while you were offline no longer waits indefinitely to sync. • Six kinds of notification that quietly never arrived now do.

TWELVE LANGUAGES Enchanted Reads now speaks हिन्दी, 中文, 한국어 and 日本語, alongside English, Ukrainian, Russian, German, French, Spanish, Italian and Polish. Not only the menus — your bookshelf, your reading reports, your achievements, your quests and your notifications. FIVE LANGUAGES FINISHED German, French, Spanish, Italian and Polish were each missing around 940 phrases that quietly fell back to English. They are written now, so all twelve are complete. COUNTING THAT READS RIGHT A two-day streak used to show the plural form reserved for five and more in Russian, Ukrainian and Polish. Numbers now follow the rules of each language. STATS CARDS IN EVERY SCRIPT The shareable stats cards were drawing empty boxes for readers of Hindi, Chinese, Korean and Japanese — on the one thing in the app made to leave it. They render properly now. The new translations have not been reviewed by native speakers yet. If a phrase sounds wrong to you, tell us through Contact Support: you will be right, and we would much rather hear it.

Your library just became a world. Open My Realm, tap "Enter World", and walk a living 3D fantasy realm grown from the books you've finished. Every genre shapes a land — fantasy grows an Enchanted Forest, sci-fi raises a Stellar Plateau, mysteries gather in Mist Hollow — and every finished book raises a building: big tomes become grand libraries, series build bridges, five-star favourites raise towers. Explore it your way: drag to orbit, pinch to zoom, two-finger drag to pan — and on Mac, the trackpad and mouse do the same. The world quietly rebuilds itself whenever your library changes. Keep reading, keep building: milestones at 5, 10, 25, 50 and 100 books unlock the Heartwood Pet, the Fountain Plaza, Sky Lanterns, the Ancient Gate and the Dragon Peak. Your cosy Enchanted Chamber isn't going anywhere — the World is a brand-new door inside it.

Meet the Reading Companion — open any book you're currently reading, tap the Companion icon, and ask anything. "Who's Hermione again?" "Recap chapter 5." "Is Snape good or bad?" The AI is bounded to the page you're on — ask about something further along and it politely deflects until you get there. The new For You page generates eight personalised book picks with a one-sentence reason for each ("you'll like this because you 5 star's X"). Save any of them straight to your TBR with one tap. And Reports → Overview now opens with a Weekly Insights card — three to five short narrative notes about your reading week (pace, genres, streaks, time of day), generated automatically every Monday. Fixes: logout now properly signs you out of Google so the app stays logged out after you kill and reopen; and the login screen stops sliding under the Dynamic Island when scrolled.

We've polished readability across the app and added new ways to manage your library. Better contrast everywhere. Action chips, filter headers, and your Profile → Settings list are now clearly readable across all 16 seasonal themes — on both light and dark palettes. Tab labels in Reading Reports, Buddy Reads, and Friends / Following stay legible on every dark theme too. Complete library filtering. The filter autocomplete now shows every author, genre, and series in your library. Larger collections are no longer cut off. Mark books as 18+ / Mature on iOS. You can now set the Mature marker directly in the book editor, and toggle it for many books at once using bulk edit. Easier bulk editing. Multi-select is now called "Bulk Edit Books" in the Library menu, so it's easier to find. Stop typing titles — scan them. Point your camera at a book's barcode and it lands in your library in seconds, with the cover, authors, page count and publisher filled in for you. Scan many: run down a whole stack of books one after another, review the thumbnails, then add them all at once — about 10 books in under a minute. Smart auto-fill looks every book up against Open Library and Google Books, and a new duplicate warning links you straight to a book you already own instead of adding it twice. Plus three new achievements for scanning fiends: Bookhunter, Librarian and Speed Reader. And the Discover tab gets a "BookTok this week" section with trending books for your region — set or change it under the new Region setting.

READING SESSIONS 2.0 Tap Start on any active reading session and a stopwatch begins ticking — pause it, resume it, stop when you put the book down. The seconds you spent paused stay out of your total, and a hard refresh of the app continues from exactly where the timer was. ON YOUR LOCK SCREEN A banner sits on the Lock Screen for the running timer, complete with the book title, cover, and your streak count. The clock ticks on its own without waking the app, works in iOS 17's StandBy mode, and the Dynamic Island shows a glyph + counter on iPhone 14 Pro and newer. EIGHT SOUNDSCAPES Rain on Glass, Old-Growth Forest, Fireplace, Quiet Café, Ocean Shore, Old Library, Thunderstorm, Silence. Pick one and the loop plays through the screen lock, app switching, and CarPlay. The Now Playing tray shows the pack name with the book title underneath; the Lock Screen and steering wheel controls play, pause, and skip without unlocking. GOALS AND SIX NEW ACHIEVEMENTS Set a daily reading target in minutes. Hit it seven days in a row to earn Streak Keeper. Sit with a book for 30 minutes without pausing for Focused Reader, 90 minutes in a row for Marathon. Start before 7 AM for Dawn Reader, after 10 PM for Night Owl. Hit ten cumulative hours on the timer for Deep Diver. EVERY REALM READS Tab bars across Reports, Book Clubs, Stats Cards and a dozen other screens now wear your active theme — pale cyan on Atlantis Depths, gold on Lunar, crimson on Gothic Twilight. The sidebar's section dividers and icons are readable on every dark palette they previously vanished into. And the version label at the foot of the sidebar finally tracks the build you actually installed. Plus a round of minor UI bug fixes and reliability improvements across Library filters, Currently Reading, the Home dashboard, and Discover.

THE TOME REOPENED The sign-in and registration screens have been rebuilt from the ground up. A parchment "open book" surface, golden corner brackets, a rune medallion at the top, and a two-second portal reveal greet you the moment the screen loads. A NEW BACKDROP FOR EVERY REALM Three drifting aurora orbs, rotating rune circles, and floating particles now sit behind the tome — and they shift colour with whatever theme you wear. Valentine glows in rose. Atlantis Depths drowns in deep teal. Gothic Twilight broods in crimson and gold. All fifteen themes paint the sign-in screen as their own. WELCOME, READER A three-second cutscene plays when you successfully sign in — a veil falls, a ring of light expands, particles burst outward, and the words WELCOME, READER bloom in gold before the app opens. READS BETTER, EVERYWHERE Gold lettering on the parchment themes — Valentine, Lunar, Easter, Sakura Drift, Steampunk Codex and more — was washing out. Now "Welcome back", "Sign the Tome →" and the Enchanted Reads brand title sit on a deeper gold-shadow range and read sharply on every light palette. AND ON YOUR iPad The new layout splits in two on iPad and landscape iPhone: brand on the left, form on the right, with the rune medallion bridging the two pages. Portrait iPhone stacks vertically, no scrolling required.

YOUR READING INSIGHTS, RESTORED Year in Review now loads the moment you open it — no more pulling to refresh. The "View Your Reading Wrapped" button is back, ready to celebrate your reading year. "Reveal My Personality" works again — let the oracle read your literary soul and reveal the archetype behind your reading habits. Stats Cards generate properly once more, ready to share with friends. SMOOTHER WAITS Both your reading personality and your stats cards are crafted by our enchanted workshop behind the scenes. A new themed loading animation now shows while they're conjured, so you always know the magic is at work. ALSO FIXED Sign Out now works from any screen, not just your profile. iPad sidebar menu items are readable again on the dark seasonal themes — Atlantis Depths, Gothic Twilight, Stardust Realm — and on Halloween and Dark. Library, Community, Friends, and Tools rows no longer disappear into the dark gradient.

FASTER FIXES, FEWER MYSTERIES EnchantedReads now sends anonymous crash and error diagnostics to our error-tracking system whenever something goes wrong. That means we see crashes the moment they happen and can fix them in the very next release — no more silent bugs lurking between updates. WHAT WE DON'T SEND No reading data, no email, no IP address, no screenshots, no view-hierarchy snapshots. Just the technical detail we need to find and fix the bug — the same information already shared via iOS "Share With App Developers."

RELIABLE STREAK CHECK-IN Tapping "Yes, still reading!" on the daily streak modal now goes through reliably. The confirmation refreshes your active reading sessions before submitting, so a stale modal can no longer block you from keeping the flame alive. If confirmation does fail, you'll see the actual reason instead of the generic "Couldn't confirm — please try again." — now you know whether to retry, refresh, or open a book.

CRAFTED REALM The biggest update since the realm welcome — your home screen and your library both gained a lot of room to breathe. READING TIMER WIDGET A new home-screen widget mirrors the Lock Screen reading stopwatch. The cover, title, and elapsed time live on your home screen and tick on their own. Idle when nothing's running, full and warm the moment you start a session. CUSTOMIZE EVERY WIDGET Long-press any Enchanted Reads widget and tap "Edit Widget" to pick from five visual styles — Parchment, Modern, Minimal, Glass, Decorative — and toggle "Match Active Realm" so the accents follow whichever realm the library is currently dressed in. ADD FROM APPLE BOOKS Sharing a book from Apple Books to Enchanted Reads now pulls the real title, author, and cover automatically. The book lands in your library with proper artwork instead of a guessed name. POLISH A round of small fixes across reading session flow, widgets, and theme rotation.

POLISHED REALM A few things we tightened up this release. THEMED LOADERS Every realm now has its own loading animation. Cherry petals for one season, twinkling stars for another, rising bubbles, turning gears, falling crimson roses — the loader now matches the realm without any setup on your part. READING TIMER, REFINED The Lock Screen and Dynamic Island stopwatch is now optional. Toggle it on from the Start Reading sheet when you want a timer, leave it off to log time manually like before. Elapsed minutes auto-fill into the progress dialog when you save. FRIENDS' REVIEWS Tap a book in the Activity Feed or on a friend's bookcase to open their review — then leave a reaction or a comment, the same way the web has always worked. STREAK MANAGEMENT Tap your streak badge on the home dashboard, or the Reading Streak card on Reports, to manage weekly freezes and view milestone rewards. Plus the usual round of small fixes.

SEASONS OF THE REALM The library now greets you when its world transforms. THEME WELCOME MODAL Every time the scheduled theme transitions — Sakura Drift to Stardust Realm, Atlantis Depths to Gothic Twilight, and every change in between — your first entry under the new theme is met with a short atmospheric welcome. You only see each transition once. THEME CHANGE PUSH NOTIFICATIONS A localized push announces every transition so you never miss the moment a new realm opens. Tap to step straight into the welcome. FIXES Enchanted Chamber welcome dialog is now scrollable on iPhone. The page title is corrected across all eight languages. The transition is the story. Welcome to the next season.

Your bookcase is now wrapped in a hand-crafted wooden frame with a full back panel — just like a real piece of furniture. Pick 10 HD seamless materials (walnut, oak, bamboo, bronze, iron, glass, stone, crystal, marble) independently for the frame, the back panel, and each shelf. Six layout presets look truly unique: Grand Library has marble columns and emerald panels, Wizard's Study shimmers with constellations and raven finials, Royal Palace drapes burgundy velvet under gold quilting, and more. A daily reading check-in now pops up on your first visit each day: confirm you're still reading your current books to keep the streak alive — no page-logging required. In-app purchases are now rock-solid in Apple's sandbox: backend verification gracefully handles propagation delays so you'll never see an error after a successful payment again.

Your enchanted library is now a real piece of furniture. Every bookcase is wrapped in a hand-crafted wooden frame with its own back panel — you can mix and match 10 HD seamless materials (dark walnut, light oak, bamboo, brushed bronze, black iron, frosted glass, ancient stone, blue crystal, rose marble) for the frame, the back panel, and each shelf independently. Six layout presets are now visually distinct: **Standard** stays clean and neutral; **Cozy Nook** glows with warm parchment vignette and scalloped trim; **Grand Library** stands tall with marble pillars, emerald back panel and brass finials; **Modern Minimal** uses flat charcoal with a cool edge-light horizon; **Royal Palace** drapes burgundy velvet beneath a gold-quilted lattice and crown finials; **Wizard's Study** glimmers with constellations, animated candle sconces and wrought-iron raven finials. Decorations got a major upgrade. Drag dragons and statuettes between books to place them exactly where you want — both on web and iOS, with per-shelf positioning that persists. Four new ambient effects bring shelves to life: **Fireflies** drift slowly across the wood, **Floating Petals** spiral down in spring, **Magic Dust** twinkles in midair, and **Aurora Glow** washes a soft auroral wave behind the books — all GPU-accelerated so battery and frame rate stay rock-solid. You'll never lose a streak by accident again. Daily fantasy-styled reminders ride the wind to your push notifications and Telegram at 7pm in your local timezone — over 200 unique whispered messages per language so the same line never repeats. Set your timezone once on first launch and the realm remembers. Bonus polish: the cosmetics picker now properly applies your chosen avatar frame and profile badge (and remembers them across sessions), character cards are tappable even before you generate a portrait, and tier limits in the decoration picker say "Limit reached" instead of incorrectly nudging paid subscribers to upgrade.

Quick actions for your reading list! You can now mark books as "Complete" or move them to TBR directly from your library — no need to open each book. We also made the Quote of the Day easier to read with larger text and better spacing, and improved button visibility across all screens so nothing gets lost on the parchment background.

Push Notifications — Your enchanted library now sends push notifications directly to your iPhone and iPad! Get reading reminders, achievement unlocks, friend requests, weekly digests, and more. Customize exactly which notifications you receive in Settings > Push Notifications, and set quiet hours so we don't disturb your reading time.
