CHALLENGE A FRIEND Finish a puzzle and see how you stack up against everyone who solved it today. Then challenge a friend: send them your time, and they can take you on right from the link, no app required. You'll hear the moment they answer, and the next morning's puzzle becomes your rematch. A BETTER FINISH Your time, points, and rating arrive in a quick sequence, with a line showing exactly how your points were earned. Big moments get their due: a new rank or your 100th solve brings a full-screen celebration worthy of it. SOLVING, REFINED Autocheck flags wrong letters as you type, so one mistake cannot snowball. Guess Mode sketches in letters you are not sure about. New solving preferences put you in charge of the details, plus pinch to zoom on the big weekend grids and swipe the clue bar to move between clues. And important stability fixes, including one for a rare crash that could repeat on launch.

Make Klew yours. Every solver now has an avatar. Start with a unique design generated just for you, then head to Edit Profile to pick a style and a color that fit. Your avatar shows up across Klew: on leaderboards and the Standings, on profiles, in Today's Race, and beside your reviews, so the boards feel a little more personal. The global Standings now show the full ladder, not just the top. The puzzle preview fills with green as you solve, matching the home screen at a glance. Plus a lighter, faster build under the hood.

Klew is now on your home screen. A new widget keeps your streak and today's mini a glance away, fills in as you solve, and taps straight into the day's puzzle. Add it to your home screen or lock screen to keep your streak going. Plus tap any name on a leaderboard or the standings to view that solver's profile and follow them. And a fix so your solves always register correctly across devices.

Klew is better with friends. Follow other solvers, see how everyone's doing in Today's Race, and show off the achievements you've earned on your profile. You're always in control: block or report anyone, and manage your blocked accounts any time. And Klew now works offline. Today's puzzles download automatically, so you can keep solving anywhere the signal drops. The home screen and Browse archive show the puzzles saved to your device instead of going blank, and anything you solve offline syncs the moment you're back online. Plus new-follower notifications and a fix so daily puzzle dates always read correctly.

No more passwords. Signing in now takes a 6-digit code sent to your email, and that's it, you're in. You'll also start earning achievements as you solve, each with a moment to celebrate. The finish screen is calmer and built around your result: your time, points, rating, and achievements at a glance, with rate and review right there. Sharing a solve looks better too, and you can do it from the finish screen or from any puzzle you've already finished, friends who tap your link land right on the puzzle. Turn on a daily reminder so you never miss the day's puzzle. Plus leaderboard and stats refinements, and a smoother solve all around.

Leaderboards are here. Every puzzle now has a leaderboard of solve times, and a new global Standings screen ranks solvers by skill rating, reachable from your Profile. Post the fastest time and you'll earn a crown; beat your own record and you'll see a new personal best. You choose whether to appear on public leaderboards, with a single tap. The finish screen is redesigned around your result, and your weekly recap now shows your current rating. Plus a fix so your streak always reflects your real solving days.

Klew now keeps score. Every solve earns points and raises your skill rating, climbing the ranks from Novice to Cruciverbalist as you take on bigger, tougher grids. The home screen is redesigned around your progress: each daily fills with color as you solve and turns green when you finish, so your whole day reads at a glance. Check your week in the new recap, then share a clean solve to challenge a friend to beat your time.

The Profile tab gets a full redesign with your streak, achievements progress, and recent solves front and center, plus a tap-through to your full stats. New solvers now pick easy mode or regular mode during onboarding, and easy mode is one tap away from any puzzle when you want a hand. The All Sizes achievement now properly includes 9×9 midi solves.
