more A fresh look for ISAA. Real runner photos at launch, on your dashboard, your plan and your offers.
Running is better together. Invite your friends from Profile, Refer a friend: share your code and follow where each friend is, from sign up to subscription. Every friend who subscribes earns you a reward, up to five.
A friend gave you their code? Enter it when you sign up, or later on the Referral screen.
Your race counts. A race run all out replaces the pace test that follows it.
Clearer strength training. Every exercise has its photo and its cue, and the end of the session shows what you worked.
And a Profile screen that shows up right away at launch.
1.3 4d ago
Accurate distances. Each session shows the distance you actually run, at your pace.
Your debrief starts the conversation: two questions ready to ask the coach, below the analysis.
Injured? Swap your test for an easy run, from the session details.
And a more accurate plan, from your very first week.
1.2.8 6d ago
Your season follows your choice. In Goal, when you make a race your goal, the app truly follows it: countdown, home screen and plan. A shorter race set just before it is run within your plan, as a checkpoint, without taking its place.
Change your days mid-week. In the Program tab, the menu offers "Change my days this week", even once the week is set.
When it hurts, the coach can remove the session. With Coach, if you report pain, it offers to remove a session from your week in one tap.
A more accurate plan. A session whose day hasn't come is no longer marked missed, your week no longer moves on by itself, and each week's title says what it contains. Trail runs are matched better when the elevation differs slightly.
1.2.7 Oct 24
Your race, your plan. On race day, choose between the pace ISAA recommends and your own goal: the Your race day screen and your watch follow your choice. If your form doesn't back your goal, the screen tells you why.
Your consistency at a glance. On the dashboard, My consistency counts the sessions you kept in your block, with the 80% mark: above it, you're 7 times more likely to reach your goal.
Share your runs in style. The transparent card comes first, and sentences are suggested to match your run.
The help center goes video. In Profile, Help center: video guides, including strength training in 48 seconds.
Also: a strength session can change day from the home screen or the Program screen, and your level no longer drops after your race.
1.2.6 Oct 19
Your coach now sets real sessions. Ask for strength or mobility work: it lands on a day of your week, and one tap opens it guided, exercise by exercise, with pictures and a timer.
Fancy some hills? Your coach turns one of your quality sessions into hill repeats, at the same dose, instead of adding one.
A hike or a bike ride instead of an easy run? On the session card, “Replace with an activity”: it counts as done.
Your coach's cycling and swimming tips show up as cards on the home screen. Close them with one tap, done or cancelled.
Also: a race you can't find is filled in right there on the Goal screen, road or trail, and a session set by your coach changes day from My week.
1.2.5 Oct 12
Your medals come to life: in the Dashboard tab, your wall turns 3D. They hang, swing when you tilt your phone and clink together. Pick the shape, metal and ribbon of each one.
Before you confirm your week, the home screen already shows its sessions, even when a new prep starts after your recovery.
Also: a shortened session shows its real duration, and the Dashboard refreshes by itself after a race.
1.2.4 Oct 5
Your race isn't in the list? On the Goal screen, add it in one tap, with its name already filled in.
Running faster than your paces? When your recent runs show it, the home screen offers to reset them, with a single yes.
After a race, your recovery shows what comes next: on the Program screen and in the chart, you see the prep that starts next, all the way to race day.
Also: in Profile, Subscription, a link shows what each plan changes, and your paces after a hilly race are reset more accurately.
1.2.3 Oct 3
Your paces tell you where they come from. When you change your race time, you see before confirming whether they'll move. A recent 1 km or 3,000 m sets your speed paces.
Build your strength session from the body. Tap a muscle, a session is suggested, you see it as thumbnails and add it to My week.
Your coach can swap today's session for your race, in one tap.
Also: choose the cards in the home carousel, read the ISAA blog in the app, and your bike, swim and phone runs now get their own read.
1.2.2 Sep 29
Trail is here.
When you add a race, you now choose road or trail. Five trail plans, from short formats to ultra, built on effort kilometres: they count your elevation gain and are run by heart rate, not pace.
Your race day gets prepared too. As your race approaches, the home screen gives you your start time and your pace, and « Your race day » walks you through your morning, your fuelling and your race plan.
And after the finish line, your race becomes a chapter of your story. Add a photo of your medal in one gesture, and share your race with three cards, from the home screen.
Strength work changes too. Pick the body areas you want to train, a session is already waiting for you, and you only log your weights. Six prevention sessions per level rotate over the weeks, each on its own day in your carousel.
Also: during a guided run, pace cues come as words or sounds, your choice, and a phone run finally counts towards your records. Your coach can move a missed session within the week. If you run regularly with no race in sight, your season may offer you a speed cycle. Without a programme, you generate your week in one gesture in My week, from 2 to 5 sessions. An interrupted guided run picks up where it stopped. And Monday's opening is faster.
1.2.1 Sep 25
Your whole season, in one place.
Set every race of your year, not just the next one. ISAA chains your training blocks on its own: the following race waits for the current block to end, then starts at the right time. And every race carries the finish time you're after.
Also: your coach now sees your full season when it answers you, a run you actually did no longer shows up as "missed", and your week stays right even when you change countries.
1.2 Sep 9
The distances shown on your sessions no longer change when you refresh your plan.
If your race is too close to fit the whole plan, you start mid-plan: the weeks before you joined now show the runs you actually did.
Your long run stays within reach, plus various fixes.
1.1.9 Sep 2
Your medal photos are now backed up: you'll find them again even if you switch phones.
During your trial, you get the medal wall, your shoes and your weekly review, just like a Pro subscriber.
Your fitness, your pace curve and your weekly review no longer show until we have enough history to tell you something true.
On the Home tab, your completed week stays on screen until Monday.
Changing your level no longer erases a session you've already run.
Your activity analysis has been reworked.
1.1.8 Aug 30
- Your shoes now have their own place. Add your pairs, and the app counts their kilometres and tells you when they are wearing out, with a different threshold depending on the type of shoe. From Profile, My shoes. And from any run, you can say which pair you wore.
- The paces and distances shown on your sessions match what you actually run more closely.
- Fixes and improvements.
1.1.7 Aug 29
- Once you have picked your days, you see next week's sessions straight away: the day, the duration and the distance worked out from your own paces.
- When you aim at a race that is too close, the app offers you a shortened plan.
- Fixes and improvements: home scrolling, durations over an hour, and the week's session counter.
1.1.6 Aug 25
You can now have a loop traced from your own doorstep, at the length you want. From your session, tap Find my loop; your saved loops wait for you in Profile, My loops.
A saved loop goes straight to your Garmin watch, and a four step guide shows you where to find it once it is there.
You can ask the coach for a shorter session when your day runs over. He trims easy volume without touching the quality work, once a week.
You can also ask him to move a session: he suggests the closest day, you confirm with a tap.
Fixes and improvements: the session detail has been redesigned, and the display was revised in several places.
1.1.5 Aug 21
Your quality block now tells you whether it held all the way. On a session's detail, the score shows the exact minute you dropped off, and your coach takes it into account in its analysis.
Fixed: your training plan now starts on the day it was scheduled. When your race was set, your program could stay on free running the very morning of the start, without a word. The plan now takes over on its own, on time.
Fixed: the coach answers again on questions that call for real analysis, such as your goal time or your paces. They sometimes stopped on a dropped connection.
Fixed: a Strava run imported from the app showed neither its kilometre splits nor where it actually came from. It looked like an ISAA activity.
1.1.4 Aug 14
Your quality block now tells you whether you held it to the end. On a session's detail, the breakdown shows the minute you dropped off, and your coach factors it into the analysis.
Fixed: a Strava run imported from the app showed neither its kilometre splits nor its real source. It looked like an ISAA activity.
1.1.3 Aug 13
Your kilometres add up properly. "Year" actually stopped at your last 50 activities, and your weekly kilometres counted your bike rides. Each sport now totals its own, and your strength work shows its tonnage.
At the end of a phone tracked run, your route appears and can be shared right away, just after you log how it felt.
Fixed: your run could be counted twice. Logging it by hand and then marking the session done created two activities, which threw off your volume, your load and your form.
Fixed: "Done" stayed stuck on a session already matched to a run, answering "not synced yet".
1.1.2 Aug 12
The help centre finally answers your questions. Five guides walk you through it, from your first sessions to race day, and one of them explains what the coach can do, and what it cannot. In Profile, under Help.
A new version of the coach arrives in the chat. It gets your numbers wrong far less often and no longer announces things it does not do. What it offers you is confirmed with one tap and can be undone; if it cannot help, it hands over to the team.
You can change your target time straight from the Program tab.
Your Dashboard now gives you a weekly review instead of yesterday's analysis: where you stand in your preparation, not just your last run.
The app's display has been reworked, taking zoom and opacity into account: text no longer gets cut off and screens stay readable whatever your settings.
Fixed: a session you had actually run could be counted as missed.
Fixed: your free trial ended a day before its real date.
1.1.1 Aug 9
Run with your phone, no watch needed.
New: built-in GPS tracking. Start a session and ISAA measures your pace, distance and route in real time, even with the screen locked. Your phone acts as the watch.
Plus improvements and fixes for a smoother experience.
