Some users on a fresh install were stuck on the splash screen behind a "You are offline" banner even on devices with full network. Splash now navigates to home/login regardless of transient site-settings load failures, with a silent background retry. FindFriends "Search People" — now performs real server-side search. Previously, only the first 50 suggested users were cached client-side and any name/location outside that list returned "No matches." Now uses the existing UserSearch GraphQL endpoint with proper pagination. Search input text — was rendering white-on-grey (theme color cascade issue) and effectively invisible. Now uses a fixed dark color readable against the input fill in every theme. Chat search → tapping a user — previously always opened a new draft conversation, even when the user already had an active 1:1 thread. Now looks up the existing thread first and opens that; falls back to a new draft only if no thread exists. Profile date parsing (TravelCountryModal) — fixed GDateTime unwrapping bug that caused a crash on profile pages with travel history. FindFriends matching improvements: Bridge protocol — client now consumes server-driven matching state transitions (was timer-driven on the client). Identity-pinned Firebase auth — matching uses a per-user custom token, isolating FindFriends identity from the chat user table. No changes to declared permissions (camera, microphone, location, notifications). A leaner version for the "What's New in This Version" marketing copy (60–80 words): Fixed a rare bug that could leave the app stuck on the splash screen. "Search People" in Find Friends now searches the full directory server-side, not just suggested users. Search input text is now visible against the input background.
