FIND US
• The bottom of every main screen now links out to Velo Garage on X, on Instagram, and the website.
WHOOP RECOVERY SAYS SO
• When your recovery number comes from WHOOP, the readiness ring on the Garage home now carries
the WHOOP mark, so you can tell at a glance whether the score is WHOOP's or the Apple Health estimate.
A QUIETER GARAGE HOME
• Recent Rides now starts collapsed, with the ride count on the header. Tap to open it, and it
stays the way you left it.
FIXES
• Scrolling through your bikes no longer ghosts a "+8 PSI" badge over the tire pressure numbers.
That badge is for a real change in the recommendation, not for the bike changing underneath it.
• The weekly mileage figure no longer flashes a phantom drop when you switch between distance and
elevation, or change the range.
PERFORMANCE
• The app was rebuilding the whole screen every time a scroll started or stopped, and again on
every iCloud sync event. It no longer does either.

Various bug updates
2.9 Jul 22
EVERY BIKE GETS ITS OWN GARAGE PAGE
• Each bike's page is reorganized into tabs: Garage, Records, and Components, with search built into the tab bar. Less
scrolling, more finding.
• The Garage tab shows the bike's upcoming maintenance and a new 100-day Maintenance Timeline: services in cyan, due
dates in amber, overdue in red, days you rode in green. Tap any day to see what happened, with ride mileage and time.
• The Records tab lists every service month by month, with how many miles ago each one happened, and generates the
shareable Bike History Log PDF.
• The Components tab is each bike's source of truth: your default tire, wax, lube, and sealant, wheel details, tire
pressure setup, and the full parts list.
SERVICE LOGGING THAT DOES THE MATH
• The product catalog grew: SILCA Super Secret, Hot Melt, Synergetic, and Ultimate sealant, plus absoluteBlack
Graphenlube, Wolf Tooth WT-1, Peaty's LinkLube, more tires, and a new sealant picker with Stan's, Orange Seal, and
Muc-Off.
• Pick a product and the reminder fills itself with the manufacturer's recommended interval, in your units, with the
source figure cited. Your own numbers are never overwritten.
• The first time you log a brand on a bike, one tap saves it as that bike's default. Log a different brand later and
the app asks whether to update it. Wax and lube are separate defaults, because plenty of riders run both.
REMINDERS THAT KNOW WHEN TO SPEAK
• The one-tap "performed today" check now appears only once work is actually due. Approaching services show an amber
heads-up instead of an early checkmark.
• The Sealant Roll card is one switch: turn it on and the reminder is armed, with the interval right there.
RIDE STREAK
• A new consistency grid in History, under the mileage chart: your last 105 days across every bike, tinted by how far
you rode, with your current and best streaks. Tap a day for its rides, distance, and time.
ALSO
• Partner shops no longer double-list when OpenStreetMap carries the same store.
2.8 Jul 20
SMARTER RIDE CLEANUP
• Split a merged ride into exactly the pieces you want. If a warm-up and race landed close together and got grouped,
open the merged ride, tap Split, and choose which recordings stay together.
• The duplicate matcher is more exact now, using tighter start-time and overlap checks so nearby but separate rides
are less likely to merge.
• The manual merge picker now shows the ride you are merging from, so it is easier to choose the right matching
activity.
WHOOP CONNECTION HELP
• WHOOP token failures now explain what happened in plain language and prompt you to reconnect when the session has
expired.
• Error details are copyable and can be emailed to support from the app, including the technical text needed to
diagnose OAuth refresh problems.
• Duplicate WHOOP failure popups are reduced, so one failed sync does not shout at you twice.
RICHER PARTNER SHOPS
• Partner shop pages now have a richer, uniform format with logo banners, specialties, brands, services, hours,
partner notes, and direct links.
• Partner pages have been expanded with service, fit, ride, and retail details.
POLISH AND RELIABILITY
• Route lookup code was cleaned up for Swift 6 concurrency, removing noisy build warnings without changing ride maps.
2.6 Jul 15
PRESSURE, CORRECTED
• We audited the tire-pressure engine against the published research and fixed what didn't hold up. Tubeless
recommendations now run 8 PSI below tubed on road and 7 on MTB, in line with published guidance from Zipp, Hunt, and
Stan's NoTubes.
• Temperature adjustments now follow the gas law, scaling with your actual pressure instead of a flat constant, so
low-pressure MTB tires no longer over-correct on hot or cold days.
• Recommendations above 72.5 PSI now carry an advisory, the ceiling ETRTO sets for hookless rims. Check your rim's
rating if you run hookless.
YOUR RIDES, COUNTED ONCE
• When the same ride arrives from two services (say, a Strava upload and its WHOOP workout), Velo Garage now spots the
twins by their overlapping recording times and lists and counts them as one ride. No more 0-mile shadow copies next
to the real thing.
• Merge by hand when the matcher can't know: open a ride, tap Merge with Another Ride, and pick its twin. Unmerge
reverses it.
• Delete a ride for good, straight from the ride screen. It stays gone on future syncs. Remove from Mileage is still
there when you only want it out of the totals.
• Strava import now reaches your newest 1,000 activities, roughly two years of riding, up from 250.
• Connected through intervals.icu? Rides that reach it by way of Strava can't be shared onward (Strava's rule, not
ours). The app now says so and points you to connect Strava directly.
PUMP MODE
• A full-screen front and rear readout, big enough to read from the floor, that keeps the screen awake while you're at
the pump.
SIRI & SHORTCUTS
• Ask for a bike's pressure or log a service by voice, and build your own Shortcuts around both.
MAINTENANCE, QUICKER
• Act on a due service straight from the notification banner, or log it right from the Next Service widget.
• Swipe a service card to delete it, with confirmation. Marking a task done now asks whether to reschedule or just log
it, and 'overdue' clears correctly after mark-done.
FEATURE GUIDE
• A new in-app manual in Settings that walks through the small conveniences you might have missed.

Now with Whoop integration!
RECOVERY FOR EVERY RIDER
• The Readiness page now works with or without a WHOOP. Connected to WHOOP? Your recovery pipes straight in, untouched. No
WHOOP? Velo Garage estimates your recovery on your iPhone from your Apple Health HRV, scored against your own personal
baseline.
• Scrub the daily recovery chart to read any day, with ridden days and rest days called out at a glance.
• New Effort vs Recovery and Heart Rate vs Power views tie each ride's watts-per-kilogram and average heart rate to that
morning's recovery.
• A Trend Readout sums up your week in plain language, written privately on your iPhone with Apple Intelligence on supported
devices.
• Have a WHOOP but want to compare? Switch to the Apple Health estimate anytime in Settings.
RECOVERY ON YOUR RIDES
• Every imported ride now shows the recovery you rode on, as a small red, yellow, or green ring.
RIDES THAT REMEMBER MORE
• Imported rides keep their Strava title even after you disconnect Strava, and your power and heart rate now follow a ride
across sources, so nothing is lost when a service goes away.
A FASTER HOME
• The Garage home loads and scrolls noticeably faster, and the tire-pressure card is more compact and readable on iPhone.
FIXES
• Apple Health syncing now recovers on its own if it ever got stuck on an authorization error.
Plus accessibility, contrast, and motion polish throughout.
2.1.1 Jun 30
NOW ON iPAD
Velo Garage is a true iPad app. A single-page garage board lays your bikes, weather, mileage, tire pressure, maintenance, and connections out as a modular dashboard that fills the screen. Cover-flow through your garage, read an 8-hour weather strip with per-hour UV, and see your mileage chart right beside your latest rides. One garage, synced over iCloud, on iPhone and iPad alike.
MORE WAYS TO BRING RIDES IN
Wahoo: connect your account to sync rides straight from your head unit. intervals.icu: connect to import your full activity history. The same ride from Strava, Wahoo, Apple Health, or intervals.icu now counts once, and a non-Strava copy becomes the source of truth, so your mileage and bike assignment survive a Strava disconnect. Choose to keep or remove imported rides when you disconnect a service, with a clear heads-up before anything changes.
ELEVATION THAT ADDS UP
Missing climbing is reconstructed from your ride's GPS route, and falls back to your Strava or Wahoo figure when a source logs zero, so totals finally match the hills you actually rode.
A WARMER FIRST RUN
A guided setup walks you from hello to your first bike and connections, picking up your units and rider weight along the way.
RIDES & MAINTENANCE
Recent rides that still need a bike show up on the home screen — tap Assign to pick one. Route maps for rides from every source, plus a Race Licenses card for your USAC, UCI, and USAT numbers. New wear items — brake pads, rotors, cassette, inner tubes, lever batteries, and brake bleed — many with left/right position. Service types now sort A–Z.
TIRE PRESSURE
Full size coverage from skinny road tires to 42mm and wide MTB, with tire width kept in sync across the calculator, bike details, and add/edit.
WEATHER
A scrollable 12-hour outlook with UV on iPhone, and a fixed-up hourly forecast.
BACKUPS & SYNC
One-tap iCloud backup and restore, no jargon. Your bike photos and Track Log now sync across devices too.
HELP, ANYTIME
A new "?" in the tab bar opens a quick support ticket — send feedback, report an issue, or request a feature in seconds.
2.0 Jun 24
Connect intervals.icu
intervals.icu is now a first-class connection. Link your account and your rides import automatically. Mileage, routes, and history sync in and assign to the right bike, right alongside Strava, Wahoo, and Apple Health. Full ride windows now import completely, and the connection wears its own brand icon throughout the app.
A guided first run
New riders get a proper welcome. A step-by-step setup walks you through units, rider profile, your first bike, and connecting your services, with smooth motion and a graceful fallback when Reduce Motion is on.
Milestone moments
Roll past an odometer milestone and Velo Garage marks it quietly, with a gentle nudge toward your next service.
Smarter, safer connections
Background and launch syncs now include Wahoo and intervals.icu, so rides keep flowing without opening the app. Disconnecting Strava now reminds you to back up your mileage first. When you have more than one service connected, we're smarter about which one is the source of truth, cutting down on duplicate rides. Strava data now carries proper "Powered by Strava" attribution everywhere it appears.
Quality of life
Tap the "Assign" badge on an imported ride to jump straight to the bike picker. More trustworthy numbers across odometers and ride stats, even with unusual data or very long ride names.
Keep riding.
1.6.99 Jun 19
What's New in Velo Garage
Wahoo ride sync is here!
Connect your Wahoo account and rides import automatically. Secure sign-in (PKCE OAuth) keeps new activities flowing straight into Velo Garage.
A cleaner Connections experience
We've unified how connected services look across the app, added brand icons, and surfaced Wahoo and intervals.icu in both Settings and History. When you disconnect a service, you choose whether to keep or remove its imported rides, and the Garage home links you right to your ride history.
Digital race license card
Carry your USA Cycling (USAC) and UCI license details in-app with a tidy digital card. New USA Triathlon (USAT) field for multisport athletes, plus a quick USA Cycling lookup link.
Shop Finder goes global (still beta)
Bike shop search now works well outside the US, including across Europe.
Smarter maintenance logging
Service logging now tracks shifter lever battery sides and inner tube installs by wheel position. Assigning a bike also respects your garage's sort order in the picker.
Plus the usual round of polish and fixes. Keep riding!
1.6.9 Jun 16
Shop Finder (Beta)
Find bike shops near you — search by ZIP, city, or current location. Results draw from Apple Maps and OpenStreetMap for fuller coverage, with honest distances and rider-first ranking. Pin favorites and your home shop to the top, and see partner shops with brand and logo detail.
Ride-weather outlook
The Garage ride banner now shows temperature and wind for the next one to four hours, so you can dress and set pressure for the conditions you'll actually ride into.
Tire Pressure
The tread gauge is redrawn as a true tire cross-section, with rim width shown as its own stat and synced to your bike's setup. Cleaner readouts on both the calculator and the widget.
Your bikes, backed up
Bike photos now back up to iCloud and sync across your devices via CloudKit. Per-bike mileage and maintenance state survive backup and restore.
Feel & polish
A floating tab bar that responds as you scroll, a smoother Garage carousel, route maps on imported rides, and a quieter save confirmation when you log pressure. Plus fixes to number formatting (no more "60.0°F"), odometer thousands separators, year labels, and backup/restore reliability.
1.6.8 Jun 15
WIDGETS
• Tire pressure on your Home and Lock Screen: front/rear PSI for any bike, plus the next service due — glance beforeyou roll out.

• New Ride Conditions widget: temperature and wind, refreshed on its own throughout the day.
• Redesigned to match the app — glacier-cyan numbers, cleaner type, and live ride-condition icons.
• Long-press any widget to choose the bike (or All Bikes) and the stats it shows.
TIRE PRESSURE
• Recommendations now match the published pressure tables exactly, for a truer baseline on every bike.
• New Pressure Adjustments in Settings: shift every recommendation up or down for Road, Gravel, and MTB, so the numbers match how you actually run. Your nudge appears right in the calculator's breakdown.
THE PRESSURE MODEL
• Rate any pressure run — Harsh, Dialed, or Squirmy — when you log it, or long-press a past run.
• After three rated runs, the calculator learns your personal front/rear targets per bike and shows exactly how it got there. Apply them with one tap.
• Pressure log now charts your front/rear trend, and the calculator shows your last logged run next to today's recommendation.
SERIAL SHIELD
• Check any serial number against the Bike Index stolen-bike registry before buying a used bike — type it or scan it
with the camera.
• If the worst happens: a step-by-step theft guide built around your bike's Recovery Packet.
MAINTENANCE
• Service history is now grouped by month, and due badges understand service type — a tire install no longer goes "overdue" on a calendar.
• Smarter reminders surface in the widget too.
FEEL
