Version 1.5.0 is the largest update since launch. It includes everything from the 1.4 releases, which were never published. A NEW LOOK • A black-and-gold redesign across every screen, matching the app icon • A redrawn app icon and launch screen • Rebuilt onboarding that explains what Peeping-Tom does, what it needs, and what it does not do • The dashboard shows monitoring status at a glance • Every screen now meets WCAG AA contrast REVIEWING YOUR CAPTURES • Swipe between captures instead of closing one to open the next • Pinch or double-tap to zoom, and drag to move around a zoomed photo • Choose how a capture is framed: full screen, the whole frame, or square • Photos saved to your camera roll now carry the Peeping-Tom mark CAPTURES THAT DO NOT GO MISSING • Video records for a full 30 seconds and is no longer cut short by a touch • Leaving the monitoring screen mid-recording now saves the clip instead of discarding it • A capture interrupted by the app closing is recovered next time you open it • A wider camera view, for both photo and video MONITORING • Picking the phone up is detected far more reliably, without needing a shake • Swipe from the left edge to leave monitoring • An uploaded lock or home screen image now appears immediately PURCHASES • Pro access works offline, so an existing subscriber is never asked to buy again just because they have no signal • Clearer pricing, and a proper message when the App Store is slow instead of an endless spinner PRIVACY • The app no longer asks for broad photo and video access. Choosing a screenshot uses your device's own photo picker, which shares only the image you pick. The visible REC indicator shown during any capture is unchanged.
