Night Sky Map by Beltari 2.1 adds a free Sky Events widget, a Moon and Planets list in the Calendar, and a list of the darkest parks near you. Moon and Planets: a new list in the Calendar shows what you can see now and when to look tonight. Beltari Night Sky Map now names up to three objects on every sky map, with no tapping. The app picks them from what you were aiming at, and each name stays with its star as you pan around the map. The names behave better too. They no longer overlap each other, they stay clear of the buttons at the bottom, and they arrive together with the map instead of a moment later. Star names now reach further. 35 more stars have names in Arabic, Japanese, Korean, Russian, Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese: 135 new names in all. A name only ships when two independent reference sources agree on it.

Beltari now speaks seven more languages: Dutch, Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, Finnish, Russian, and Polish. That makes 20, star and constellation names included. Setting up is simpler now: five short screens, one thing each. One of them offers Calendar reminders, so you hear about a rare night the afternoon before it. You can now unlock any time from the capture screen, not only after your three free captures are spent. Restoring an earlier purchase lives there too. The free allowance is unchanged: three captures a night, back at noon. Also fixed: the sky drawing on Calendar cards was mirrored in Arabic, and some names and labels still showed in English.

Every part of Beltari is now free — the full 30-day Calendar, every star map style and shape, and red night mode. Free includes three captures a night, and they come back at noon; Premium lifts the limit with one purchase, once. If you already have Beltari, your captures stay unlimited — nothing you use today becomes paid. Calendar can now remind you the afternoon before a night worth heading out for. Constellation lines now cover all 88 constellations.

Captures line up more closely with the sky you aimed at — the compass corrects itself, and the Moon and bright planets are handled more carefully near the horizon. Beltari now offers Premium: the 30-day Calendar, every star map style and shape, and red night mode. Identifying stars and tonight's sky stay free. If you already have Beltari, Premium is yours at no cost — nothing you use today becomes paid.

Calendar surfaces rare events worth leaving the house for: supermoons, meteor showers, solar and lunar eclipses, and planets at their brightest, each checked for your location. Captures are more accurate now — the compass corrects itself, so the stars you tap line up with the sky you aimed at.

Daytime captures now open with the brightest stars in view instead of an empty sky. And every star you tap shows a label — even faint ones without a traditional name.

A compass at the top of the viewfinder helps you find your way around the sky.

New: a visibility slider lets you reveal more or fewer stars to match what you see overhead. Beltari now reads your camera's exposure at capture to estimate sky darkness automatically. Stability and accuracy improvements throughout.
