Jazz Guitar listens to your playing through the microphone and gives you instant, note-by-note feedback - no cables, no interface, just your guitar and your phone. Six focused trainers take you from "where is that note?" all the way to soloing over the changes, and a smart scheduler always points your practice at the things you haven't nailed yet.

FRETBOARD TRAINER
Hear a note, then find and play it anywhere on the neck. Start with naturals, add sharps and flats, then the whole fretboard. The app uses spaced repetition to drill the positions you keep missing, so your time goes where it counts. A coverage dashboard tracks every position.
SCALES & ARPEGGIOS
Play the one-octave scale or arpeggio for any root and chord quality — m7, 7, maj7, m7b5, dim7, mMaj7 — and have each note checked by ear. A full-neck map colors the chord tones and degrees so you see the shape as you learn it. A built-in curriculum opens up new keys and qualities as you master the basics.
LINES — SOLO OVER THE CHANGES
A walking bass and drums loop a progression or jazz standard form (ii–V, ii–V–I, the blues, rhythm changes, and more) while you improvise. In Targets mode the app prescribes the guide tone to land each bar and grades how well you voice-lead. In Free mode every note you play is classified live - chord tone, tension, avoid note, or outside - over a color-coded "good-note" map of the neck.
DROP-2 VOICINGS
Learn and drill the essential jazz chord voicings across roots, qualities, inversions, and string sets. Browse any shape, hear it strummed, and read its intervals - then quiz yourself: the app names a chord, you play it, and all four notes are scored. Includes ii–V progressions and a daily spaced-repetition review.
PLAY-ALONG BAND
Comp the changes in time with a looping rhythm section, with your voicings scored as you strum (headphones recommended).
EAR TRAINER
No guitar, no mic - pure listening. The app plays an interval or chord quality and you tap what you hear. Practice the unlocked pool, run a spaced-repetition review of what's due, and track your accuracy on a coverage grid.
TUNER & METRONOME
A chromatic tuner with a cent-offset gauge and a fretboard view that shows exactly which note you're on, plus a metronome with a real sampled drum-kit voice.
