Your finished series is now a book. You turn it page by page, and the cover is yours to decide — your own title and a cover image, taken from your episodes or from your photo library. In My Comics the book then sits on the shelf showing that cover. Series themselves can do more, too: every template can start one, and your own sentence decides what happens in an episode instead of being rewritten. Outfits and locations follow the story. And the app finally tells you when your comic is ready, even if you closed it in the meantime. A lot of quiet annoyances are gone as well: stopping the wait no longer destroys a comic you paid for, the text you typed survives a failure, signing in no longer throws your work away, and error messages arrive in your language instead of English.

The app now follows your iPhone's language. Until now it opened in English for everyone, whatever your phone was set to. Arabic joins as a new language, right-to-left layout included. Alongside that, a thorough overhaul: fewer steps from photo to comic, a wait that finally shows real progress, and a finished comic you can zoom into — and that stays saved instead of disappearing when you tap back. Several purchase and restore issues are fixed.

Creating comics now requires a CartoonMe Pro subscription. The annual and monthly plans start with 7 days free, and the monthly plan is back alongside weekly and annual. After your first finished comic, we also ask whether we may measure which ad brought you to CartoonMe. You can decline any time — the app works exactly the same.
