1.3.0: Browse your backups and bring your photos back. • Restore to Photos: choose photos, videos and Live Photos from an AmberTime backup and save them to your Photos library. Restore is free, with no Pro purchase required. • A new backup grid: browse by month, filter by album, drag to select, and filter for items not already in Photos. • Flexible restore options: skip recognized existing items by default. When the backup contains the relevant information, add items to their original albums or keep hidden items hidden. You can also add restored items to a new album. • On iOS 26 and later, backups and restores can continue after you lock the screen when the system allows, with progress on the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island on supported devices. Background operation remains subject to system conditions. • Clearer progress while scanning and updating the album index, plus fixes for stalls when selecting or accessing some folders. Restore results depend on the files and information retained in the backup. Older backups may not restore edits or complete album information.

• Fixed a backup that could stop with a "Database is suspended" error after the app had been in the background. The database is now resumed every time you return to the app. • Added automatic recovery for a damaged local database: the unreadable file is archived and rebuilt instead of stopping the app from opening. • Mac fixes (AmberTime runs there as an iPad app): opening Media Types, Photo Source, Time Range, Folder Layout or Album Selection no longer closes the new backup task form, Settings now has a Done button, and the backup folder is named "Mac" without characters some drives reject. • Layout fixes on the iPad task page and date picker, plus more complete translations when using the in-app language setting.
