Drums 1.2.0 — What's New Practice sessions Tap Play All to run your whole practice list in one go. Choose how you move between grooves — a set number of repeats, or a set number of minutes each — with an optional count-in before every one. You can also skip anything already marked as practised. Speed trainer Pick a target tempo and the app raises the speed as you play, a few BPM at a time, until you get there. New view: Note Highway A third way to see a groove, alongside the grid and notation. Notes travel toward you down a lane for each drum, so you can read what's coming instead of chasing a playhead across a row. Tempo where you need it The tempo control now lives on the transport bar instead of behind the settings gear, with a loop toggle beside it. Each groove also remembers the tempo you've been practising it at, so it's there when you come back. Two new grooves 6/8 Rock Ballad and Jazz Ride — bringing jazz back to the library. Better notation 6/8 and 12/8 grooves now beam and count in the right groupings Eighth notes are no longer engraved as sixteenths — this affected every groove in the library Rests now appear where an instrument drops out, so fills read properly Also in this release The screen stays awake while a groove is playing Your practice list shows when you last played each groove Full VoiceOver support, and larger mute/solo buttons Fixed: deleting several grooves at once could remove the wrong ones Fixed: changing tempo mid-groove could cause a brief stumble Assorted playback fixes around interruptions, count-in and looping

Stability and reliability improvements: • Audio playback now pauses cleanly when interrupted by phone calls, Siri, or unplugged headphones • Fixes a race condition in the sequencer that could cause stuck or missed notes when toggling mute/solo • Playback pauses when the app is backgrounded • Tighter metronome sound and more responsive practice list
