For Everyone - Updated summit and route descriptions across all Wainwrights. - Recalculated route time estimates, accounting for surface types even more accurately. Companion+ - 55+ routes and descriptions added, covering all 116 of the Outlying Fells. - 6 new Outlying Fell achievements for multi-summit hikes linked to the new routes. - Update to the live activity to allow it to be recovered if accidentally closed from the lock-screen. Pro - Live Activity's next-summit target now advances automatically on proximity, not just after logging a summit. - Backgrounded walks are far harder to lose; checkpoints every 60s, force-closed apps resume correctly, ending a walk stays safe. - Cleaner pre-start screen; compact side-by-side activity & direction toggles.

FOR ALL - The summit celebration now bursts the moment you tap Bag It & repeat visits get their own moment - Summits bagged during a walk now appear in their own section at the top of the summary, in the order you climbed them - with repeat visits clearly marked alongside. - Reversing your route is now a pre-Start option, moved from Options upfront. - Fixed a rounding error so profile and stats screens now all agree on your completion percentage. - Fixed a long-standing bug where the Map's search box could stop opening the keyboard (and the fell markers could vanish) after viewing a fell's details. COMPANION+ - Routes can start up to 10km outside the National Park. PRoviding more options to navigate to the Outliers. - Photos are optimised before upload, so sharing a walk with five photos now takes seconds instead of minutes - with live progress while it happens, and shares that couldn't send retried automatically. Companion PRO - The Live Activity now lists your route's summits in walking order, and points you to the Finish once the last one is bagged. - Also fixed a minor alignment issue on the centre, which was left-aligned on the return.

Squashed bugs: • Fixed an issue that could lead to lost progress when saving a walk. Only occurred after the walk had been resumed (i.e. phone reboot, battery flat, or app dismissed). • Post-reinstall displays status whilst prior completions are restored from iCloud and confirms when complete. • Live Activity display made clearer; time, distance, and elevation to the upcoming fell is separated from the progress beneath. • Outlying Fells achievements incorrectly displayed 'Wainwrights', now displayed correctly. • Fixed a data issue that could leave the Outlying Fells missing from the Map and Achievements on a new install, until an iCloud restore corrected it. • Fixed an iOS 26 issue that could cause your walk history to silently re-sync from iCloud every time you opened the app. • The offline map banner now tells you when there's no signal to cache the map.

New Features: • Pro gets live route directions. While you're navigating, your Dynamic Island and lock screen show the stats that matter; progress, distance and ascent remaining to the next summit, your elapsed time, and a direction arrow pointing you the right way. Not just a compass, a directional arrow that knows your route and tells you which way to head. • Companion+ now supports follow-along navigation for all 225 trails. Open a route, tap Follow Along, and the map tracks your position in real time along the path, showing the summits still ahead of you. When you reach the end, you close the session and log the completion and summits in one step. • Companion+ includes all 116 Outlying Fells. Switch between your original 214 and the Outlying Fells from the Map or Checklist, with the same weather forecasts, pinpoint accuracy, achievements, and regional breakdown you'd expect. If you've been ticking both books in your own records, the app is keeping up. • Free tier's Profile tab has been reorganised around progress. Progress at the top shows exactly where you stand in the list, with achievements below showing recent milestones without needing to open the full grid. • Free Tier now highlights revisited fells. The map and checklist now distinguish fells you've climbed more than once. Your repeat ascents have always been recorded, now they show. Squashed bugs: • Fell marker outlines now align to the system setting; supporting light and dark mode more closely. • Improved a scrolling stutter which could occur for some users during iCloud sync activity. • Added a notification informing users when no suggested fells were being displayed due to sunset. • Night Owl achievement might fire when adding a manual completion after 20:00, re-saving will now correct this.

Squashed Bugs: - Fixes a launch crash that could occur after completing a classic-route walk such as the Coledale Horseshoe. - Added the labels to all Wainwrights during Navigation in free-look, to be able and reference to fine nearby summits.

Added new features: - Updated Achievements and icons for all categories. Squashed bugs: - Navigation map - Fell markers no longer de-prioritised and disappear as you zoom-out; they stay visible for the whole route. - Re-routing - Solved an issue where adding a waypoint during navigation might not take the correct route. - Share Cards - The completed-fell total on your shared cards now matches your Checklist and Stats consistently; some instances would +1 to the total count.
