Boardcast is a live chess tournament spectator app. It connects to relay servers that stream real-time game data from over-the-board chess tournaments. Users can watch multiple games simultaneously in a grid view, follow individual games with move-by-move updates, live clocks, and engine evaluation, view tournament standings and pairings, and save games locally for later review. The app solves the problem of following professional chess tournaments remotely — giving spectators real-time access to moves, positions, and analysis as games unfold on physical boards.
