AERI Weather

Radar, Forecasts & Storms

Free · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.

Understand today's forecast, follow recent radar, explore storm analysis, and check available road-camera views before you go. AERI Weather makes it easier to understand what's happening outside and what may be coming next. Start with a clear forecast. Go deeper with radar, storm tools, and road-camera views when the details matter. TODAY'S WEATHER, AT A GLANCE See current conditions, the hours ahead, and the details behind the forecast in a calm, readable view. RADAR AND STORM CONTEXT Follow recent precipitation imagery, explore available map layers and outlooks, and examine atmospheric diagnostics when source data is available. Nexus helps put a selected storm area in context with direction and distance information. ROAD CAMERAS BEFORE YOU GO Browse public road-camera views from participating agencies. Some sources provide moving video; others provide images that update periodically. PRESSURE WITH ANCHOR On supported devices, follow barometric pressure and device status from a dedicated view. AERI brings everyday forecasts and deeper weather tools into one place. Coverage, camera availability, radar freshness, and weather-data refresh times depend on location and source. Storm direction and arrival information are estimates; follow official alerts and local safety guidance when conditions are severe.

Welcome to AERI 2.0. This is a major redesign across the app, with a more consistent visual language, clearer navigation, and weather information that is easier to read at a glance and explore in depth. Forecast has a new layout built around what matters now and what is coming next. Current conditions, the hours ahead, and the details behind each number are easier to find and understand. AERI's explanations help turn weather measurements into useful context. AERI Nexus is a new way to understand a selected storm area. Choose an active alert in Storms, then see its direction and distance from your location, a plain-language storm brief, and Radar Perspective. The camera direction view uses a moving arrow to orient you toward the selected area. The arrow shows where the area is relative to you; it does not establish a verified storm track or replace official warnings. Radar and Storms have been refined for a clearer map, more useful controls, and better paths from a highlighted area to its details. The new SPC Outlook view lets you explore official U.S. severe-weather outlooks by day and hazard, with a map and legend that make risk levels easier to interpret. Live Streams has a redesigned browsing experience for public road cameras near you. Check available road views before traveling, explore more locations, and distinguish moving video from periodically updated images. A camera can help you assess visible conditions, while official transportation agencies remain the source for confirmed closures. SAI, atmospheric Analysis, and Radio have updated views for deeper weather exploration. A new Flooding screen brings flood-focused information together. Anchor continues to show pressure behavior and device status on supported hardware, while other tools throughout AERI have been refreshed to fit the new design. Driver Mode now presents weather-aware road estimates and stopping-space context in a clearer layout. Time Machine and Forensics make it easier to revisit past weather and available official storm reports. StormCam's capture and review experience has also been refined, with weather telemetry and AERI Intelligence branding available on exported media. This release also improves loading recovery, navigation, and responsiveness across key screens. Data availability, camera coverage, refresh times, and sensor features vary by location, source, and device. During severe weather, follow official alerts and local safety guidance.
