HOW IT WORKS Pick the apps to watch and set your daily free time. Uglify runs in the background; once free time is spent, the effects escalate: 1) Flat Gray. Color is removed and sound mutes. Your feed looks like a newspaper from 1987. 2) Dull Dimmed. The screen darkens. Watching videos feels like staring through fog. 3) Nuclear. Colors invert. Combined with the grayscale, the screen becomes genuinely unpleasant. You'll want to leave. That's the point. WHY IT WORKS You don't have a "willpower problem." You have a design problem. Setup, rebuilt — and it survives being interrupted. Getting the automations in place is clearer now. And if iOS shuts Uglify down while you're partway through — including while you're over in Shortcuts — you come back exactly where you left off instead of starting again. Levels fire when they should. A missed hand-off could leave a session open and credit the whole gap, so a phone left in a pocket might jump straight to Nuclear on the first morning open. That's capped now. A safety check that occasionally swallowed a real level change is gone too. Quieter analytics. Anonymous usage stats no longer carry the names of apps outside a short public list. Your screen time itself has always stayed on your phone, and still does. Still no streaks, no scores, no guilt. There won't be any.
