This update brings a redesigned look, landscape on every screen of iPhone and iPad, and games that pause when you step away. Two minutes? Drill your misses.
You studied the periodic table and it still slips. Atomic Tab drills it the way exams ask: not only names and symbols, but group, period, block, atomic mass, electronegativity and more. The elements you miss collect in your Often wrong set, so you drill exactly those.
Quiz
Start from a name, a symbol or an atomic number and answer any of 14 properties. Easy gives you choices. Hard makes you type the answer, and forgives a small typo on longer answers.
Often wrong
Your misses add up across rounds. Up to 30 of the elements you miss most become a set you can drill on its own.
Table Match
Tap & Match and Drag & Match put elements back in their place. Structure takes the labels away: find the element from its group and period, its group and block, or its period and block.
Fill the Card
One clue, up to three blanks. Rebuild an element's card field by field.
Learn
Tap any element in the table to see 13 properties, from electron configuration to oxidation states. A mnemonic for each of the 18 groups, and with Pro you can write your own.
Sets and stats
Train on the first 20, 50 or 80 elements, all 118, a family such as the halogens or the lanthanides, or a set you build yourself. Stats show your accuracy, your best times and the elements you miss most.
