• Yomu Originals: a new tab of comics made by the Yomu team, in manga, manhwa, manhua, comic and novel styles, in your language. Content Limits, in Settings › Privacy, chooses which ratings show. • Home, a new first tab: Continue Reading picks up your last series (Start Something New before you've read one), with Today's Goal and shelves from your library and Yomu Originals. • Shorts: stories told in quick, full-screen episodes. Scroll from series to series in Originals and read episode after episode without stopping. • Novels: read Yomu Originals novels and your own EPUB and TXT books in a new reader. Choose the font, spacing and theme, turn pages or scroll, search, and highlight. • Downloads are faster, fetching several pages at once, and more chapters open offline. Stop one from its progress ring; a chapter started twice by mistake downloads once. • Search leaves the tab bar for Home's own search button; History still opens from Library's toolbar, and with iOS 26 an iPhone's tab bar shrinks as you scroll — the Shorts feed too. • Tap Zones: choose Left / Right, L-Shaped, Edge, Kindle-style or your own, give Webtoon its own layout, and see the zones as you start reading. • Page Fit for each series (Fit Screen, Fit Width, Fit Height or Fill Screen), and Keep Zoom Between Pages. • New page looks: Invert Colors, Grayscale, a background for each series, Split Wide Images and Adjust Margins. • In the reader: a Status Line, Orientation for each series on iPhone, Keep Screen On, notes on bookmarks and a way back after a jump; Auto-Scroll has its own button, and bookmarks are under the menu's Bookmarks. • Turn pages from a keyboard or a page turner, and switch on Swap Volume Buttons or Left Edge Adjusts Brightness. • Reading Presets: save a book's reading mode and give it to other books, now with Manhua and Comics presets. • Read Aloud reads speech balloons in reading order and can turn the pages; on Chinese pages it reads every balloon in one Chinese voice. • Open PDF, EPUB and comic archives in Yomu straight from the Files app or another app. • Webtoon Mode from Tags opens series tagged webtoon or manhwa as webtoons, Webtoon Side Padding can differ by orientation, next and previous scroll one screen, and very long strips no longer close Yomu. • Downloads open offline again after an update, the reader says why a chapter can't, and Remove Download clears one from its series page. • First Page Alone, for each series, pairs spreads like a printed book; Page Curl starts where you turn the page and turns spreads over the spine in either direction. • When a page can't be translated, the reader says so and offers Try Again or Turn Off Translation; sound effects over the art translate without blurring it. • AI Colorize keeps pages sharp, colors long strips evenly and leaves color pages as they are. • A new app icon, in every theme color. • Yomu is a much smaller download: what only some readers use comes down when first needed. • Next Chapter goes to the next number, not another copy of the same one, long chapter lists scroll smoothly, and search shows results as they arrive and no longer gets stuck.

• In the Library, Select counts the series you pick, marks each cover with a clear check, and Done finishes. You can also rename your own categories right from the category bar. • The Library remembers the sort order you pick; it used to go back to A–Z each time Yomu opened. • Sync your reading progress with Bangumi. • Translation now reads each page in the language it was written in. In the Translation Language sheet, Translate This Chapter or Translate This Manga starts it, and Stop Translating ends it. • App Lock now covers Yomu the moment you switch to another app, not only once it's in the background. • Webtoons no longer show gaps between pages when Crop Borders is on. • Confirmations now appear next to the button that asked for them.

• In the Library, Customize Categories arranges the category bar: put the filters in your order, hide the ones you don't use, rename or delete your own categories, or choose Show Only My Categories. • A cover opens its own series. With wide cover images, the series next to it could open instead.

• Translated pages look like comics now: each balloon is translated as a whole and lettered back in comic type with an outline. Vertical Japanese text is read too. • Translate This Manga keeps a whole series translated as you read on. A pill by the page slider shows the progress of the page on screen, and in webtoons a balloon split across two images is translated too. • Translation no longer stops with an alert on a page already in your language or a thin strip between webtoon images; other errors show once per chapter, not on every page. • Report a Problem, in the reader's menu or beside Retry, tells us when pages don't load, are missing or out of order, or are badly translated. • Long-press a page for Share Page or Save to Photos, translation included. Share Page is in the reader's menu too. • App Lock can use a 4-digit PIN of its own, so unlocking your device isn't enough to open Yomu, and it now covers an open chapter too. • Sharing your library, as a file or over Wi-Fi, now sends only series and their chapter lists, never sign-ins, settings or reading history, and a shared library you open is added to yours instead of replacing it. • Settings fits on one short page; its long groups open on pages of their own. • Yomu speaks your language throughout: Help, reading directions, chapter titles and many messages are translated and follow the language picked in Settings, and it's 1 chapter, not 1 chapters. • Search opens on trending and top-rated lists, and a series page ends with More Like This. Both come from AniList and can be turned off in Settings › Privacy. • The reader's menu is grouped and gains Image Adjustments (brightness, warmth, contrast and more) and Flag. • Lock Zoom keeps a stray pinch from zooming the page, and double-tapping the chapter title or the page slider jumps to the first or last page. • Mark Previous as Read catches a series up in one go; long series list every chapter instead of stopping at 300; and the For You shelf can be hidden. • Fixes: closing the reader keeps your page while Yomu checks for new chapters; a failed page shows up in place after Retry; one stalled chapter no longer leaves the rest loading forever; stopping a flicked strip no longer brings the controls back; and Yomu no longer asks you to update when you're up to date.

• Read a series from more than one source. Add a second source and the two chapter lists become one, each filling the other's gaps; long-press a chapter to open another source's copy of it. • Filter your Library by where a series came from — a chip for each source, beside your own categories. • Share your sources, one category, or your whole Library as a code or a link, and scan one to add what someone sends you. • Send your Library to another device over Wi-Fi. Nothing of yours is replaced: only what is missing is added. • Before you uninstall a source, Yomu says how much of your Library reads from it. • Covers no longer come back blank while a page of results is still loading. • Search a source from a button — a magnifier in the corner, instead of a field you had to scroll back to the top to find. • Covers load, and keep loading. Covers whose addresses contained spaces never appeared at all, and a long chapter now fetches pages ahead of you instead of one at a time as you scroll. • When something goes wrong, it says what to do. A site turning Yomu away now tells you to open it and finish its check — in your own language, as does the rest of the app, which had been answering in English in places. • A new app icon, and the reader's bars turn solid when you ask the system for less transparency.

• Source settings open again — on some community extension sources the settings screen failed to load in 3.17. This build carries the fix in the app itself, so it works from first launch. • The chapter a notification told you about is now marked NEW in the chapter list, and stays marked until you open it. • A chapter shows a date only when its source actually gives one. Chapters without a date used to show today's, which read as a release date and changed every time the list refreshed. • Sort a series' chapters by title, A–Z or Z–A — useful when a series carries several versions of the same chapter. • When a series has chapters in more than one language, each chapter is tagged with its language. • Settings reports the right App Store version again instead of an older one. • Move a series to another source without losing it — the new Change Source in a series' menu searches the sources you have installed, and carries read chapters, history, bookmarks, categories and tracking across. • “Newest First” really is newest first. Where two editions of one chapter share a number, they now follow the date each was published. • A site that asks you to confirm you are human now shows that check wherever it comes up, instead of leaving a list empty with no explanation.

• Sign in to a source that needs an account and stay signed in, including sources that ask you to sign in on their own page. • Change a series cover to one of the alternatives its source offers, alongside your own photos and files. • Open a series in Yomu straight from a source's own website while you are browsing it. • When a source changes the way it identifies series, your library, history and bookmarks move across with it — and a backup is written first. • A source that moves to a new address is followed automatically, and notes it leaves on a page now show in the reader. • A cover you change appears everywhere in the app right away instead of after the next launch.

• Smoother reading: turning or scrolling a page no longer causes a brief stutter. • Webtoons: the page you land on after a fast scroll stays put, pages sit flush with no hairline between them, strips delivered as small tiles open in webtoon mode, and the newest chapter ends on a "You're all caught up" card. • Chapters run in the right order: Next Chapter always goes forward, and the last chapter's end card no longer offers an older one. • Translate: the prompt to download a language pack now appears on iPhone, and raws with a scanlator watermark are recognized as Korean. • Browsing: covers load right after launch, series open in the browser from their page, and bookmarks open on their page and stay there. • Reading Stats no longer freezes on the Mac.

• Fixed: Premium subscribers could still get ads for a moment after opening the app — sometimes audible with nothing on screen. Yomu now remembers your subscription between launches and never starts the ad system before it knows you are a subscriber.

• The Mac app now follows the iPhone and iPad design throughout — large titles, sidebar, lists, menus and sheets all redrawn. • Delete a single downloaded chapter: right-click on Mac, swipe or long-press on iPhone and iPad. • On-device translation is more reliable on tall pages and on Chinese, Japanese and Korean pages that used to come back empty. • Settings rows respond anywhere on the row, not just on the switch. • New Chapter Notifications now tell you when permission is off, and can open Settings for you. • Fixed adding iCloud Drive as a source on Mac.

• Fixed reader buttons not responding on iOS 26 — Liquid Glass containers no longer block taps on close, bookmark, chapter, and page controls. • Reading stats now track every chapter — previously, only the last chapter counted when reading multiple in a row. Each chapter switch now records its own session with accurate duration. • Improved cover preview on Mac — larger sheet with Command+drag zoom support. • Browse tab rows are now fully clickable on Mac. • Larger sort and filter icons on iPhone. • Source uninstall support — long-press any source to remove it.

• Liquid Glass reader bars on iOS 26 and later — the controls now float in translucent glass pills over the page. • The bars stay put while you swipe and hide only when you tap the page.
