What's new in 1.1.0 – Instagram DMs in your inbox Connect your Instagram Business account and route customer DMs into Booklee's unified inbox. Reply by hand or let Booklee's AI book the appointment, answer questions, and follow up — all without leaving the app. – WhatsApp Business, fully self-serve Connect your business phone to WhatsApp from Settings → Channels in under two minutes. A 6-digit code confirms the number, Meta approves your display name, and incoming WhatsApp messages flow into the same inbox as SMS and Instagram. No carrier paperwork, no spreadsheets. – Disconnect any channel in one tap Channels settings now lets you cleanly disconnect Instagram or WhatsApp the same way you connect them. Tokens are revoked server-side and the channel goes dormant — your past conversations stay in the inbox. – Faster sync on launch We rebuilt the app's startup so calendar, services, and customer data load in parallel instead of one after another. The "Syncing…" screen now clears in roughly half the time on first open. – Light mode looks right again Several screens were rendering with dark-mode contrast in light mode. We swept the app and fixed text, borders, and surfaces so light mode is properly readable on every screen. – Sharper sign-in on desktop The 6-digit verification code boxes are now clearly visible on every screen size, and the sign-in card has a soft drop shadow so it doesn't disappear into dark backgrounds. – Cleaner copy throughout Booklee works for any service business — barbershops, salons, fitness studios, clinics, pet groomers, mobile detailers. We swept the app for industry-specific language and replaced it with copy that fits whatever you do. – Staff invite links fixed Sending a staff member an invite from Settings now opens directly into the Booklee app, not a backend page. Less confusion, fewer support tickets. – Smaller fixes • Booking creation now uses idempotency keys, so a flaky connection can't accidentally create the same appointment twice. • If your Instagram OAuth completes on desktop, "Return to Booklee" now actually takes you back to the web app. • The calendar's 12-hour time format ("5 PM") is now locked in and won't switch to 24-hour by mistake. • Push notifications are now sent to the right person when staff sign in — owners no longer get a "new web sign-in" alert when their staff log in.
