FarmScout™ is your guide to the countryside - a nationwide farm app for searching inventory and events at farms, farm stands, farmers markets, u-pick, orchards, vineyards, nurseries, apiaries, seafood markets, distilleries, breweries and farm stays near you - or wherever you are headed. SEARCH BY PLACE, PRODUCT OR EXPERIENCE Search for produce, seafood, meat, eggs, dairy, honey, flowers, pumpkins, apples, Christmas trees, plants, baked goods, wine, beer, spirits and more. Planning an outing? Search for u-pick, tastings, tours, live music, festivals, classes, farm dinners, camping, glamping and farm stays. Results appear in distance order. Search where you are or choose another destination, then open a listing for business details, products, events and ways to contact the farm directly. KNOW BEFORE YOU GO A lot of farm information never makes it online. Some stands have nothing but a hand-painted sign at the end of the road, and plenty of farmers never touch their website or social media. FarmScout gives them a direct line: farmers add their inventory and events themselves, some every day, or text and call us with updates. Where a farm has not reported yet, FarmScout fills in what it can from public sources, market schedules and event listings. Every update carries the date it was reported, so you can see how fresh it is and where it came from. Farm details still change fast - products sell out, weather closes picking fields, hours and event schedules shift - so check the date and confirm with the farm before you drive. WHY THE SUBSCRIPTION MATTERS Farmers list free. Listings and management tools cost farms and eligible farm-direct sellers nothing, and FarmScout takes no sales or booking commissions. Your subscription covers the cost of running the app. FarmScout is independent and built lean so the price can stay small. A MOTHER-AND-SON STORY FarmScout was created by a Long Island mom and her son, who built its first working prototype at age 11. They wanted to support local farms, but the useful information was scattered everywhere, and they were watching familiar farms disappear as fields became housing. FarmScout is their answer: an easier way for people to find local agriculture and a free way for farms to reach customers. FREE FOR FARMERS Farmers and eligible farm-direct sellers can visit farmscoutlocal.com to add or claim a listing, manage business information and share products and events at no cost. Farmer Verified listings have been claimed by the farm. Qualifying USDA Organic and Veteran Farmer attributes are searchable in the app. A DISCOVERY GUIDE, NOT A MARKETPLACE There is no cart, checkout, booking or delivery. FarmScout helps you find agricultural businesses, products, events and destinations, then connect with each business directly. Purchases, reservations and questions are handled by the farm. CONSUMER SUBSCRIPTION FarmScout Monthly and FarmScout Annual provide full access. Pricing is shown in the app before you subscribe. Payment is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm a purchase or after any applicable introductory trial ends.
