What's New (v5.7) Convert Transactions to Recurring When you're viewing any transaction, a new "Set Up Recurring Payment" option appears right below "Mark as Cleared." Tap it to turn a one-off payment into a scheduled recurring transaction with the payee, amount, and day-of-month pre-filled. Your original transaction stays in the register as a historical record; the new schedule handles future posts. Quick Reconcile A new checkmark toggle in the toolbar lets you batch-clear transactions in the Uncleared tab. Turn it on, tap the circle next to each transaction to mark it cleared, and the rows stay visible so you can see your progress. Turn it off when you're done and the list snaps back to show only what's still uncleared. Improvements throughout, we sweat the small stuff so you don't have to.

What's New (v5.6) Change Passcode: head to Settings → Security to update your passcode without having to reset the app. Smarter Boot Recovery: if Basic Checkbook ever has trouble opening your data, you'll see a clear screen with options instead of an automatic wipe. Your data stays put while you decide what to do. 30-Day Backup Reminder: a quiet card on the Accounts screen nudges you to back up your data once a month. One tap and you can save a backup straight from the banner. Safer Backup Restore: restoring from a backup file is now atomic. If anything goes wrong mid-restore, your existing data is fully preserved instead of half-replaced. Calendar Fix: scheduled bills set for the 31st now correctly land on the last day of short months (Feb 28, Apr 30, etc.) instead of slipping into the following month.
