Version 8.1 • Favorites. Swipe an account to the right and add it to your favorites; a Favorites chip then leads the filter bar. Up to four. • Prefer a plain list? Settings now has a Filter Accounts switch that turns the chips off. • Deleting an account now also clears the reminders for its scheduled transactions.

Version 8.0 • Filter your accounts. Chips above the list narrow it to Checking, Savings, Brokerage or Credit, and Checkbook remembers your pick. • Your accounts over time (Premium). Tap the total on the accounts screen to see how your accounts have moved, month by month, with a tile for each one showing its own change.

Version 7.9 • Account tiles all read the same now. A brokerage account's gain has moved to its own screen, where there is room for it. • The card in Settings now takes turns introducing Ink, Basic Bins and Basic Intake, the other apps from Basic Apps.

Version 7.8 • New account type: Brokerage. Keep a 401(k), IRA or investment account next to your checking and savings, tracked by its value, with no bank login. • Update Value does the math. Enter what the account is worth today and Checkbook writes the gain or loss for you. Type it, paste it, or scan a screenshot of your brokerage app. • See what you put in, what it is worth now, and the gain since you started or this year. Value over time keeps every value you have entered. • Log deposits, withdrawals, dividends and fees on a brokerage account, and update its value with Siri. • Export a CSV and import it back into Checkbook: cleared states, tags, memos and check numbers all come along. • If you use Checkbook on more than one device, update them all so every device understands the new account type.

Version 7.7 • Edit one side of a transfer and the other side updates with it, so both accounts stay in step. • Every transfer now says which account the other half is in. • Recurring payments set up from an older transaction keep their original dates instead of jumping to today. • Monthly Recap and the budget card no longer count transfers as spending, so every screen agrees on your month.

Version 7.6 • Restoring a backup now tells you exactly what it replaces, and what leaves your other devices, before you confirm. • Deleting all data explains the same thing in the same place. • If a delete or restore fails, the app says so instead of sending you to the setup screen. • Forgot passcode moved below the number pad, out of the way of Face ID.

Version 7.5 • Forgot your passcode? Reset it with your iPhone passcode. Your accounts and transactions stay exactly as they are. • Face ID unlock can now only be switched on in Settings, with your passcode. • Cleaning up duplicate accounts now keeps every transaction. • Interest entries you typed yourself are no longer treated as duplicates. • CSV import reads amounts with commas, and gets deposits and payments the right way round. • Receipt scanning fills in the correct amount outside the US. • Payoff plans no longer add an extra month with a $0.00 payment. • Premium unlocks the moment you open the app, so your theme and icon stop flickering.

Version 7.4 • Schedule a bill or paycheck twice a month on two exact dates, like the 1st and the 15th. • Duplicate a scheduled transaction to set up a similar one in a couple of taps. • Name fields now suggest payees and schedules you have used before. • Fixed a bug where a monthly schedule could post on the wrong day.
