Promises integrates with Apple's Screen Time and Family Controls framework (including the FamilyControls and DeviceActivity APIs) to support optional distraction-management features. When you enable it, Promises encourages a short moment of scripture and prayer before you open selected apps.
This feature is completely optional and works on your own device. Promises does NOT access personal content, messages, keystrokes, or any sensitive data, and does not track your activity outside the apps you choose to restrict — your selections stay private on your device. All permissions are user-controlled and can be disabled anytime in device settings.
