What's new in 1.5.0 Event chat, one tap away • Every event you're hosting, registered for, or waitlisted on now has an "Event chat" row right on the event page. Tap it to jump straight into the conversation — no more digging through the Messages tab. Unread messages show a badge. For hosts • Get a notification the moment someone registers for or joins the waitlist of one of your events, so you always know who's coming. You can turn these alerts off per event. • Promote anyone on the waitlist, even past a spot that's still waiting to be accepted. • Registration times now appear on your attendee list down to the second, making it easy to settle "who signed up first" questions. • Success messages for host actions (like removing an attendee) now appear only once the change actually goes through. What's new in 1.2.0 Meet Groups We renamed "organizations" to "groups" across the app — same thing, friendlier word. Starting your own takes about 30 seconds, whether it's your Tuesday night volleyball crew or your weekend pickup basketball squad. Smarter Explore The Explore tab now surfaces groups alongside games. Even if no events are scheduled near you yet, you'll always see groups you can join — or start your own. Search now works across both games and groups. Better Empty States No games near you? You'll see friendly prompts to host one yourself or ask someone in your group to throw a game on the schedule. Every empty screen now has a clear next step. Host-First Onboarding We cleaned up the path for new hosts. Group creation is faster, the default group type is selected for you, and the "Host a game" CTA shows up exactly when you'd want it. For volleyball only: Live Tools When your event is in progress, a new Live Tools section appears on the event detail screen. Tap Scoreboard to jump into a quick match scorer — it auto-selects your event's sport so you can start tracking points immediately.
