YOUR MEDICINES RECORD, READY FOR AN INSPECTOR: The veterinary medicine administration record you must keep for five years is now on the phone, laid out to match the official card: date, product, batch number, place of purchase, colonies treated, dose, withdrawal period and disposal. It shows the same rows and the same dates as the website, including the day each withdrawal period ends. Open it from the menu under Write it down, or from the print button on the Treatments list. SEASON REPORT: One page per year: colonies on the books at the start and end of the year, hives added, losses as they stand, inspections, honey from your own bees, treatments given, feeding, and money per currency. Pick any year that holds a record. Under Reports. INSPECTION HISTORY: Every inspection, hive by hive and in date order, the record book a bee inspector would ask to see. Filter to one hive or one year, or print the lot. Dead and sold hives stay in the book. Under Reports. HIVE QR LABELS: The app could scan a hive label and could not print one. Now it prints a sheet, three labels to a row, or a single label from a hive's page. The code never changes, so a label survives renaming, renumbering and moving the hive. SYNCING IS MUCH MORE RELIABLE: A single record the app could not store used to quietly stop everything syncing. That can no longer happen. Changes that fail to sync are no longer silent either: you will see how many there are, with a button to try again. YOUR HIVES NOW MATCH THE WEBSITE: Hives you archived on the website were still showing in the app. They are hidden here now too, and every inspection, harvest and treatment underneath them is untouched. Honey you bought in, were given, or extracted from several hives at once now reaches the app. HARVEST FIGURES ARE RIGHT: Harvests recorded in jars were counting as nothing on the dashboard, the reports and the hive pages. They count properly now. Honey you did not produce yourself is kept out of your own production totals, the same as on the website. A NEW LOOK: Cleaner type, sharper edges, and the honey gold saved for the things that need your attention rather than spread across every screen. Dark mode has been redesigned rather than simply inverted, and every screen was checked for readability. EASIER TO READ: Labels and buttons that were too pale to read in bright light have been darkened. REMINDERS: Reminders created on another device now come through as notifications on this one. SMALLER THINGS: The app no longer asks for microphone access when it opens. It asks the first time you tap the microphone, where it can explain itself. The app starts faster and can no longer get stuck on the opening screen. Everything the app needs to draw itself is now built in, so it looks right in an apiary with no signal.

Scan with the button on the home screen, the Active Hives list, or right inside the inspect flow, and the correct hive opens instantly, ready to inspect. Works with gloves, works offline. Scan a label with your iPhone camera and it opens the app straight to that hive. Settings now sit comfortably on iPad. Faster app start and smoother syncing, especially on bigger apiaries.
