.i.s.o. wants less.
It's a small, calm place for photographers, artists, and the people who love their work, built on the "radical" idea that you should be able to look at something
beautiful without being exploited for profit.
There's no algorithm here deciding what you see. No advertising snuck between the images. No artificial intelligence shaping the feed, writing the captions, or guessing what you'll tap next. Only art, made by people, shown honestly.
Inside, things move slowly on purpose.
You'll find photographs you'd never have come across otherwise and feeds that hold still instead of chasing your attention. A map that lights up wherever work is being made, gathered into a heatmap rather than a pin, so you can wander without anyone tracking where a photo was taken. Images shown one at a time, given room to breathe, with the lens, shutter speed, and histogram a slide away. Leave a heartbeat for the work you love or keep an inspiration for the few pieces you can't forget.
Your profile reads more like a portrait than a form - your gear, your collections, the artists who shaped you. Nothing here is built to be measured against anyone else.
And when you go looking, the filter actually narrows: by subject, medium, gear, or color, stacked to further refine your search. Every long exposure of water. Every street frame shot on 35mm. Exactly what you came for, and nothing sponsored in the way.
It's all lovingly tended by hand. Screenshots are disabled, so your work can't be scraped, and your photographs never train a generative model or live anywhere else online. When something's reported, a person reads it, and if someone has to leave, they're told why.
It costs one dollar a month, and that dollar is used purely to keep the services running. Your data isn't for sale because there's no one to sell it to. The app answers to you, because you're the one it's for.
