1.2 Jul 18
This update focuses on two things: making data more accurate and professional metrics easier for everyone to understand.
[New · Metrics Dictionary]
• What do CSS, ACWR, SWOLF, and other professional terms actually mean? Each metric now has four layers of explanation: a plain-language summary, how to read it, how it is measured, and the scientific basis with references.
• Browse and search all 13 core metrics in Profile → Metrics Dictionary.
• You can also tap ⓘ on any data card to understand the current value on the spot.
• For composite metrics created by the app, we clearly disclose their validation status without overstating precision.
[Improved Data Accuracy]
• More accurate stroke distribution: after a workout syncs to Apple Health, distance is automatically reassigned using lap-level stroke classification. Stroke changes and kickboard sets now match Apple’s Workout app.
• Swims recorded with Apple’s Workout app now automatically detect personal records after import. Bulk-imported historical workouts also rebuild your complete record progression.
• Whether you start a swim from AquaPulse on Apple Watch or Apple’s Workout app, analysis quality is now consistent across heart-rate zones, stroke distribution, training load, and personal records.
[Experience Improvements]
• Completed Simplified and Traditional Chinese localization across CSS tests, analysis accuracy, chart explanations, and all related screens.
