Keep watch over your AI coding agents from your iPhone. See which Herdr and tmux agents are waiting, check what they need, and reply on the spot, over Mosh.
Never miss an AI agent prompt again.
Ever stepped away from your Mac, checked your phone, and
realized Claude Code had been waiting for you to approve
a change for 20 minutes? That's the frustration MT fixes.
MT - Mosh Terminal is the mobile companion for AI coding agents such as Claude Code and Codex, running in tmux or Herdr. The moment an agent needs input, a push notification reaches your iPhone. Tap it — MT instantly resumes the exact tmux session over Mosh. With Herdr, you can also see every agent at a glance and jump straight to the one that is waiting.
Not just SSH — a pro terminal for mobile developers. With an external keyboard, iPad becomes a Mac-level terminal experience.
AI AGENT MONITORING
• Herdr support: see your agents across Herdr workspaces, which ones are waiting for you, and jump to the right pane
• Check button on a waiting agent: peek at what it is asking and answer with arrow keys, Enter, and Esc without leaving your current screen

• Task completion and permission requests reach your iPhone and Apple Watch instantly
• Tap a notification → MT auto-resumes the exact tmux session (host, user, and session name are matched automatically)

NETWORKING
MT connects directly to your servers via SSH (TCP port 22) and Mosh (UDP ports 60000-61000). This app does NOT function as a VPN, proxy, or network tunnel. All connections are direct terminal sessions to servers you configure.
Available in English, Japanese, Chinese (Simplified & Traditional), and Korean.
Requires iOS 18 or later. iPhone and iPad.
This update improves chat input, the hardware keyboard, and layouts on Duo and iPad.
• After closing the connection list at the top, you can keep typing in the chat field you were using.
• When the chat field is empty, arrow keys, Return, Esc and similar keys go straight to the terminal.
• Opening the chat field with a hardware keyboard no longer flickers right after it appears.
• With Duo open, the chat field now stays above the on-screen keyboard.
• Tap the joystick on the L1 bar to open a larger arrow pad, which also works while the Needs input details panel is open.
• ⌥⌘1–9 now follow the agent order in the sidebar by default and can jump to agents in other tabs on the same connection. Restore “All Spaces” in Settings under “⌥⌘ number target”; pressing an unused number no longer shows a notice.
• Tapping an agent or a notification in the sidebar opens the whole session and focuses that pane; choose “Open this pane only” to open just the pane.
• On iPad, dragging the sidebar edge now moves the terminal along with it.
• On Duo (open, landscape) and full-screen iPad, the sidebar keeps its width when unpinned, and you can resize it while unpinned.
• Opening, closing, pinning, or unpinning the sidebar no longer shows stripes or a black band on the terminal.
• On Duo, rotating the terminal keeps the previous screen covering the display until the new size is ready, reducing dark flashes and stripe noise.
• Updated how the terminal handles resizing and text reflow.
• Scrolling right after connecting over SSH starts moving immediately, and input buffered while connecting is delivered in order.
• Returning from sleep or background no longer leaves the screen offset or flickering.
• The Help screen and the shortcut hint list now match the keys that actually work.
• The “Show controls in the side toolbar” and “Hide Clock for Full Screen” settings moved into Terminal Display → Screen & Controls.
• Updated part of libghostty, including 8 security fixes for images, tmux, and the cursor.
