Never miss a prayer. Athan delivers accurate prayer times, a real-time Qibla compass, subtle notifications, and smart calendar booking that works around your schedule.
Athan brings accurate Islamic prayer times and a beautiful Qibla compass to your iPhone - everything you need for your daily prayers in one app.
Your prayers, always in sight
See the current prayer, time remaining, and next prayer at a glance. Track your five daily prayers with completion checkmarks that reset each day at Fajr - the Islamic day boundary. View both Gregorian and Hijri dates.
Qibla compass
A beautifully designed compass that points you toward Mecca in real time. The compass rotates with your device so the Qibla direction is always at the top. Haptic feedback lets you know when you're aligned within 3 degrees. Displays precise bearing, distance, and direction to Makkah al-Mukarramah.
Smart calendar booking
Book prayer time slots directly into your calendar. Athan intelligently schedules around your existing meetings and lets you drag-and-drop to fine-tune. Perfect for busy professionals who want to protect their prayer time during the workday.
Accurate worldwide calculations
Choose from 12 prayer calculation methods used across the globe — ISNA, Muslim World League, Umm Al-Qura, and more. Athan auto-detects the right method based on your location, with both Shafi and Hanafi Asr calculations.
Thoughtful notifications
Get notified when a prayer starts or set a reminder before it ends - 15, 20, or 30 minutes - so you never miss your window.
