Restoring a backup now follows the backup exactly, including its mileage rates and its commute setting. Smaller fixes and reliability improvements.

Restoring a backup now follows the backup exactly, including its mileage rates and its commute setting. Smaller fixes and reliability improvements.

Mileage rates can now change on a date, and each trip uses the rate in force on the day you drove it. In pounds, business miles past 10,000 in a tax year use the lower rate, and reports in pounds and rand follow the tax year. Trips start and end in the right place more often, and time parked after you arrive no longer adds distance.

Return legs after midnight show their real date. A reminder to enter your odometer reading when a drive ends. Backups can be verified on a new phone with your PIN. Faster arrival detection and smaller fixes.

Trip markers now appear only when something really affected the recorded distance. Small technical hiccups no longer flag an otherwise clean trip. The return trip switch has been replaced with clearer actions. You can add a return leg to a manual trip, remove one you added, or split a merged round trip into two separate trips. If you added a return leg with the old switch, the trip details now say so, and reports mark that distance as declared by you rather than measured.

Tap any marker on a pending trip for a plain explanation of how the trip was recorded and what it means for the distance shown. The editing screen now says exactly which fields are locked and why. Trip durations now reflect your driving time even if you enter an odometer reading later.

Starting a manual trip now takes over cleanly from automatic detection, so a drive is never recorded twice. Trips with an estimated starting stretch are clearly marked before you approve them.

Klomio now asks for confirmation before splitting a merged round trip into two separate trips. The History card for batch approvals also has a clearer heading.

See which trips were part of an approved batch and open them from History. Reset all data now clears everything, including diagnostic logs. Smaller fixes to backup import and default rates.

Fixes an issue where the app could get stuck on the PIN screen after a drive. The monthly comparison on the Overview tab now compares like for like.

Bulk approval now shows the trip count and each trip's type before you confirm, and flags types that were guessed from the time of day. Place names have been removed from the internal diagnostic log. This update also improves diagnostics and includes small fixes.

Fixes a rare issue where the app could get stuck on the PIN screen until restarted. Export totals now always match the individual trips. Improvements for European spreadsheet formats.

The weekly summary no longer arrives twice. Trips detected while your phone stays locked now appear as soon as you unlock. Recovered drives stay in your inbox, the Today total counts approved trips, and the current month is always available in the History filter. Plus a number of reliability fixes.

A clearer review inbox and other small improvements.

Reliability improvements and cleaner CSV exports.

Your review inbox now sorts by date. The weekly summary reports the correct week and notes trips awaiting review. Face ID stays enabled and recovers by itself after an iOS reset. Reports now note that distances are GPS measured. Small fixes for very long trips.

Long drives now stay as one trip. Improved trip start handling after restoring a backup, updated 2026 default claim rates for NL, UK, US and SA, and small fixes.

Fixes and polish across trip capture and review. The recording notification now appears once your drive is actually under way instead of while you are still parked. Edits you make to a trip are now saved together with their integrity signature, so quickly closing the app after reviewing trips no longer shows warning triangles. Fixed a rare case where battery saver could briefly start a recording session while walking. You can now save a trip's starting location as a place, handy when someone dropped you off. Plus small interface refinements in History.

• Trips now appear in your History within seconds of opening the app, even after a few days away. Street names fill in automatically right after. • Fixed a duplicate that could appear when you tracked a drive manually while auto-detect was on. The automatic copy of your return leg is now recognised and discarded. • Reliability improvements throughout.

Automatic trip detection. Turn it on and Klomio logs your drives by itself, from your real departure point to your arrival, even when the app is not open. • Auto-detected trips wait in a review inbox for your approval before they enter your log • Approve the same drive a few times and trusted routes start filing it for you automatically • Saved-place arrivals are recognised within moments of parking • Round trips merge automatically, including auto-detected legs • Designed around iOS location services to stay easy on your battery • Reliability and detection improvements throughout Auto-detect is optional and off until you enable it. Manual tap-to-track works exactly as before, and everything stays on your phone, encrypted, as always.

This update is all about reliability and polish. • Trips you start without choosing a destination now record where you actually went. Previously such a trip could lock onto a saved place you happened to drive past, then fail to save correctly. Fixed. • Round-trip distances now record your actual measured GPS distance instead of a slightly higher route estimate, so your mileage log stays accurate. • Fixed a rare crash that could appear during first-time setup on a brand-new install. • Top Destinations and the weekly summary now focus on where your business mileage actually goes (your home address no longer dominates the list). • When you search for a destination, your recent places now appear instantly for quick selection. • Smaller fixes and clearer labels throughout, including a clearer label for trips with an unknown start and a fix for a brief flash of the upgrade screen that could appear for subscribers right after opening the app.

Improved how trip starts are recorded when GPS takes a moment to lock on. More reliable round-trip detection notifications. Cleaner monthly and tax report layouts on smaller iPhones.

This update improves the reliability of your trip log. We fixed a rare issue where an automatically saved trip could be removed unintentionally, so every drive you track now stays safely on record. We also corrected the help text shown when location access is turned off, so the steps to re-enable it are accurate. Your trip data has always stayed private and on-device, and this update makes it more dependable than ever.

Improved round-trip detection. Trips with stops in between now save separately instead of merging, matching how you actually drove. Plus a lock-screen alert confirms your return drive even when Klomio is running in the background.

Small refinements based on real-world use: the Settings screen has been tidied up, monthly PDFs and CSV exports now include return-trip times where available, and after a few saved trips the app may ask if you'd like to leave an App Store review. No changes to how trips are tracked or stored.
