TradeMate helps UK trades run jobs, capture compliance-style evidence, quotes, invoices, and sign‑off in one place. Create work against clients, record what happened on site (checks, photos, receipts, snags), then sync when you’re back online — so paperwork doesn’t vanish when signal drops.
What you get
• Jobs & calendar — List or calendar view: see today’s schedule, multi‑day job spans, client and general reminders, and team calendar entries. Filter by trade/type (Gas, Electrical, Plumbing, Construction, and more — plus your own templates).
• Checklists & templates you control — Start from UK‑oriented defaults or build your own. Use them for compliance-style checks or any recurring on‑site routine. Apply templates to new jobs in seconds; add ad‑hoc checklists when a job doesn’t fit a template.
• Pass / fail / N/A + photos — Record checks clearly; require photos on fail when you need proof. Optional snags with photo markup for issues that aren’t a simple pass/fail.
• Receipts & evidence on the job — Snap receipts and photos against the same record — fewer scraps of paper back at the van. Optionally flow receipt details into business expenses for your accounts view.
• Clients — Contact details, addresses, jobs, quotes, invoices, and reminders in one place (Free plan: up to 3 active clients; paid plans: unlimited).
• Quotes — Build quotes with your branding, export PDFs, attach quote photos, and send an acceptance link so clients can confirm in the browser. Turn accepted work into a job or invoice when you’re ready.
• Invoices — Raise invoices from jobs or clients; track paid/open; export branded PDFs. Optional Stripe card pay links on invoices (separate from quote acceptance).
• Job documents — Attach PDFs, images, and office files to a job when you need more than photos alone.
Teams that actually work
• Workers see assigned jobs and sync their work — not your full client list.
• Admins can manage jobs, clients, team, and approvals like the owner (billing stays with the owner).
• Viewers (Solo) get a read‑only shared calendar and schedule — useful for office or family without full app access.
• Assign jobs on Team plans; workers mark jobs complete; owners/admins review, comment, and approve before sign‑off.
Professional outputs
• Job report PDFs — Findings, photos, checklists, snags, and receipts — with your logo, colours, fonts, and section order (custom layouts on paid plans).
• Quote & invoice PDFs — Same branding and payment details; look consistent when paperwork leaves your phone.
• Portfolio — Star your best jobs and keep a showcase gallery for pitches (paid plans).
Stay on top of clients & cash
• Reminders — Per client (visit, missing paperwork, compliance-style follow‑ups) or general reminders. Notifications and calendar entries so nothing slips. Recurring reminders on paid plans.
• Admin hub — Invoices, quotes, and accounts: see what’s outstanding, clear expired quotes, export CSVs, and view sales vs business expenses by UK tax‑year quarter (summary totals — not a substitute for your accountant or HMRC filing).
Invite your crew
Invite by email or shareable link/code. Multiple admins so one login doesn’t bottleneck reviews and job creation. On Team, add workers and assign jobs; on Solo, invite up to 3 calendar viewers without full team seats.
