Received files now keep their original "Date modified". Until now a file arrived with the time the transfer finished, so a document last edited months ago showed today's date on the other device. Works over Wi-Fi, offline Nearby, from a browser and through cloud links. Also fixed: turning receiving off from the Mac menu bar could hang.

Housekeeping release. The app works exactly as it did in 2.5.7; this build exists so the store listing can be updated in more languages.

Clipboard sync is now end-to-end encrypted on your network. Every copy is sealed for a single device, so nothing readable crosses your Wi-Fi. Both devices must be on 2.5.6 or newer — older versions will no longer sync with this one, so update every device you use.
