A couple of small improvements in this release: Market Price sort You can now sort your Collection and Lenses screens by their current market value, based on recent eBay sold-average prices. Just tap the Sort button and pick "Market price." If we don't already have prices for some of your items, we'll fetch them in the background and quietly re-order the list as values arrive. Items we can't price yet sink to the bottom so they don't get in the way. A cleaner look for card tabs When you flip a camera or lens card, the active tab (Notes or History) now stands out in your accent color with white text — so it's instantly obvious which one you're on. Every camera has a story. Now Camera Vault tells it. Flip any card in your collection to unlock its history — origin, release year, notable specs, backstory, and a fun fact. From iconic classics to obscure rangefinders, there's a story waiting on the back of every card. Available now for Camera Vault Pro subscribers.

Stats now reflect your actual collection. Cameras and lenses marked as Wishlist are no longer included in totals, values, or breakdowns — so your numbers show only what you own. You'll also find a new info icon on the stats page that explains exactly how everything is calculated.

AI scan got a small but important update — if a scan can't identify your camera or lens, it won't count against your daily limit. You'll also see a clearer message letting you know what happened and how to get a better result.

Ever wonder what your Yashica or Olympus is actually selling for right now? This update adds live eBay market prices to every camera in your vault. You'll see the current average sale price, recent sold listings, and active eBay listings — updated in real time. Photos & details — Double-tap the large photo on camera or lens details to open it full screen; swipe between photos when you have more than one, and tap × to close. Removed the extra download-style control on the hero image—your gear still saves and exports from Settings → Backup as before. Collection & lenses — List view shows owned vs wishlist next to the film/digital or prime/zoom pill. With two photos, list rows show two separate thumbnails side by side. Sort options in the sheet are listed A–Z by label; Recently added stays the default sort. Settings — Currency, Language, and Backup are in expandable sections so the screen stays tidy; Appearance (theme) stays visible at the top. Backup is at the bottom of Settings. Clearer, shorter currency blurb; Currency sits above Language. Philippine Peso (PHP) is available, with sensible defaults for the Philippines and matching eBay research links.

English & Japanese — The app can follow your phone language (Japanese when your system is set to Japanese, otherwise English), with a clear Language option in Settings. Currency & conversions — Prices and totals display more consistently for your chosen currency, and when you change your base currency, the app can convert your whole collection using current exchange rates, so values stay meaningful. Cameras & lenses — Collection and Lenses are easier to browse, with sorting, search, and clearer guidance when your shelf is empty. Backup & Restore Your full collection is now one tap away from being saved or moved. Export a ZIP from Settings containing your camera and lens data, a stats snapshot, and all your photos. Import it back anytime — merge with what's already there or start fresh with a full replace. Progress indicator Export and import now show a full-screen progress view so you always know where you're at. Appearance defaults to System The app now follows your device's light or dark mode out of the box. Change it anytime in Settings. Polished details Cleaner edit buttons on camera and lens screens, tidied-up Settings copy, and a streamlined Stats tab — exports live in Settings now, not scattered around the app.

You can now add serial numbers to your cameras and lenses — they'll show up in your gear details and get included when you share or export. Lens focal lengths now display with a proper mm suffix, and zoom lenses support a range format (like 24-70mm). Film and digital cameras now have their own icons so you can tell them apart at a glance. The export button on the Stats page only shows up when you actually have gear to export — no more phantom download button. A few layout and form improvements across the app to make adding gear feel cleaner.
