This update introduces a major evolution of the artificial intelligence in Natural Checkers AI. New Natural AI Until now, the application used a single AI engine based primarily on traditional position analysis and material evaluation. The engine has now been enhanced with a new Natural AI powered by a neural network trained on nearly 215,000 games. Inspired by modern machine learning approaches, this AI has learned to recognize strong positions and strategic patterns by observing a very large number of games. The results are impressive: in many matches, this new AI manages to defeat the former Level 12 AI even though the latter can think for up to 15 seconds per move on an iPhone 14. The Natural AI, on the other hand, generally requires only about 1.5 seconds of thinking time to produce very high-level moves. The Former AI Becomes the Analytical AI The application’s original AI has not disappeared. It has now been renamed Analytical AI and remains available for all players who enjoy its playing style based on deep variation analysis. This AI has also been improved: * Significantly improved endgame handling * Added quiescence search to better analyze multiple capture sequences * Maximum thinking time increased from 3 to 15 seconds at the highest levels These improvements make it stronger than before while preserving its traditional analytical approach. AI improvements and smoother gameplay • Smoother piece movement Pieces now move with fluid animation instead of jumping instantly between squares, resulting in a more natural and enjoyable experience while keeping fast responsiveness. • Stop AI / Continue AI button Added a new button that allows you to stop the AI while it is thinking or playing, and resume the game at any time. This feature is available in all supported languages. • Less deterministic openings (controlled randomness) The AI now introduces slight variation during the first moves of the game to avoid always playing the exact same openings.
