In the Quiz, Confirm, Continue and See result always stay on screen, no scrolling needed. With the app in Spanish, French or Greek, the Quiz tells you which languages the questions are in. Fixed movie ratings from the Manage sheet.

Start with Play in the Quiz tab: play on your own or challenge someone. Play your round and send the challenge when you finish. Once the other person has played, you can compare results. Privacy and data is now in Settings: choose whether to send crash reports. YouTube videos load when you request them. When importing from Netflix, confirm each title that needs review once, without repeating your choice for every episode. We also fixed a crash when opening comments.

If you sign up with email, the verification email now actually arrives: Somto sends it, with a link on somto.it, just like the password reset one. Typed the wrong address? You can change it. Somto has a new neon icon. With larger text, posts, comments, messages and title pages read better, and with smaller text the buttons no longer shrink. A person's filmography is a single grid, with the titles you've already seen them in at the top. Trakt import tells you how it went and what to do next. The Random quiz mixes more titles. At the end of sign-up we ask how you found us.

If rating an episode or signing out doesn't go through, you now see it and can try again. Pause and drop notices stack without covering each other, and the Undo button is always readable. Full activity reads well with the light profile too. Letterboxd is now listed in the import screen.

Your upcoming releases On Home you now see the movies and shows you're waiting for, from seven days before until release day (In 3 days, Tomorrow in theaters, Today on Netflix). Hide it until tomorrow with the X, or mute a title from the card menu. For movies we also remind you the evening before and on the day itself. Paused and dropped shows Take a show you no longer watch out of Continue Watching without losing your episodes: pause it or mark it as dropped, with Undo if you change your mind. In Watchlist they have a filter of their own. If a show has been idle for a while, Somto asks you about it on Home. Simpler Reorder Choose what to do with each show in one tap. Also The profile can switch to a dark theme, your choice. The Mark episode widget confirms your tap right away. On a show page you can see how many people finished it and where they usually stop. After a movie in a saga you get the next one to watch.

Somto now speaks Spanish, French and Greek, and follows your iPhone's language. Notifications arrive in the app's language. Redesigned title page: the scene image at the top, then the runtime and where you're at, and one tap takes you to watch it on the platform, straight to the title when we have the link. Ratings tell you who they come from: people you follow, the community, you. If you're watching a show, a card tells you what the next episode is. The Episodes tab is new, with season chips and the season rating. New profile: pick your cover from the images of a movie or show, and your library opens in a sheet you can pull up to full screen. The classic profile is still available. Messages and notifications live in one place, behind the button at the top right. The dot lights up only when something is waiting for your reply. Search: as soon as you open it you find new releases picked from what you watch. The Cast tab finds actors and directors even if they had never shown up on Somto. Home: the suggestions at the top show the whole image, with Add and Not tonight always visible. Swipe sideways for the next one. One tap saves to your Watchlist, and lists are picked from a single sheet. Under each title on your profile you see the date you watched it, imported titles included.

One Home: community posts now live in the Home tab, below your series, together with what to watch tonight, new releases and people to follow. Search sits at the bottom, where your thumb is: tap the button above the tab bar (inside the tab bar on iOS 26) and the keyboard opens by itself. Title page: the cast stays available while you rate, related titles are complete and include community suggestions, there is a saga section and you can mark who you watched a title with. Quiz: play whole sagas (Harry Potter, Marvel, Dragon Ball, Star Wars and more). The result tells you how many you got right out of how many, and from the result you can challenge a friend on the same title. Challenges: pick from the people you follow, challenge on a saga, share the link again or cancel a pending invite. The email verification reminder no longer covers your screens: it lives in Home and in your Profile.

Home now has "For you": movies and shows picked from what you watch, whatever platform they're on. The "New" row is gone, because instead of recent titles it kept bringing back old ones. After you sign up the app asks for notification permission again. For a few weeks it had stopped asking new users. TV Time import: we no longer tell you to request an export from a service that has shut down. If you already have the ZIP, you upload it like before.

Widgets • Your watchlist comes to the Home Screen, and the large widget becomes "pick up here": the series you're watching, where you left off, and two buttons - watch and mark episode - without opening the app. Where to watch • The "Where to watch" logos now open the right service on the exact title (Netflix, Disney+, Apple TV, Max). Fixed the titles we listed on Prime that actually live elsewhere. Community • Above the feed there are people to follow: those who rated the same titles as you, and which ones you share. There are also Somto's own pages - In theaters, Series of the moment, Crime and thriller, Anime - posting releases on their theme. Post threads are easier to read, and commenting no longer reloads the feed. Episodes • A series page now tells you how to mark where you are, and "Jump to an episode" lets you pick season and episode without scrolling all the way there. Reviews • Your review goes into the title's public discussion without ticking anything, and to tag who watched with you, you search the name instead of scrolling through everyone you follow.

Widgets and search • Somto's first widget is here: Upcoming releases, in three sizes, with the films on their way and their dates. One tap takes you to the title. This is just the start — widgets will grow in future updates. • Titles in your watchlist now show up in system search: search from your Home Screen and open them straight in Somto. Releases • Films that aren't out yet show their Italian release date. • From a post you can follow a title with one tap and get a heads-up the day it comes out, even if it isn't in your watchlist. If the date moves, we'll tell you. Title page • A new cast view with characters: vote for the ones that won you over and see the community's favourites. • Tap an actor to see their full filmography. • Sections show a placeholder while they load, instead of appearing out of nowhere. Community • Mentions now work everywhere you write: type @ and pick who to tag. Fixes • Fixed the issue where switching accounts on the same phone left the app open but empty. • Ratings on a single episode now stick, and if something goes wrong the app says so instead of staying quiet. • Fixed watchlist labels that broke mid-word. And onboarding is brand new: instead of explaining Somto, it lets you use it.
