Stash AI: Finance Tracker
AI-Powered Finance Tracker
Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
Your loan just landed. Now make it last.
Stash AI is the money app built for students. It turns the lump sum into one honest number — days of money left — and tells you what you can spend today without wrecking January. Then, when your thumb hovers over "buy now", Solon is the money coach you call first.
ONE NUMBER, EVERY MORNING
Tell Stash what landed and when the next drop comes. Add rent and the bills that are already spoken for. From then on you get days of money left and a daily safe-to-spend figure that moves when you spend — and never pretends things are fine when they aren't.
CALL SOLON BEFORE YOU SPLURGE
A £145 impulse is ten days of money. Solon says so out loud, then gives you a way to get it properly: a save-plan, or a cheaper pick that fits. Once a week he calls you to walk the week ahead in two minutes.
ASK ATLAS ANYTHING
"How much have I spent on takeaways this term?" Atlas knows your real spending and answers straight. It never pivots to selling you something.
WEEKLY BUDGETS THAT RESET
Food, transport, going out — small pots that reset every Monday, so one bad Friday doesn't sink the month.
SUBSCRIPTIONS, ALREADY COUNTED
Every recurring cost in one place, subtracted from your days-left number before you see it — including the ones you forgot.
GOALS
Interrail, a deposit, a summer that isn't spent working. Lock a bit away each week and watch it move.
SCAN, DON'T TYPE
No bank link needed. Snap a receipt or a statement and Stash logs it, so your number stays honest.
HONEST BY DESIGN
No surprise charges, no loans pushed mid-chat, one-tap cancellation. Built in the UK, hosted in the EU, Face ID protected. Your data is yours.
SUBSCRIPTION INFORMATION
Stash Pro is available as a monthly or annual auto-renewing subscription. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Subscription automatically renews unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store account settings at any time.

more A calmer, simpler start: the new setup takes you from sign-up to your first plan in a few easy steps. Stash Bot now stays visible on every screen, and Stash looks better on wide and foldable screens, with lists and details side by side. Plus smaller fixes and polish throughout.
2.3.5 Oct 27
Meet Stash Bot: a little robot that lives on your money habits. Hit your daily and weekly goals to earn Stash Bucks and dress it up (Pro).
Also new: a redesigned Atlas for straight answers about your money, and a clearer weekly "safe to spend" number.
Plus fixes and polish throughout.
2.3.4 Oct 20
New in 2.3.3:
• Atlas can now remember things you tell it, only if you say yes, and you can see and delete what it remembers.
• Goal coach: get a weekly plan for each goal that matches the number on Home.
• Stash sounds for expense and subscription reminders.
• A simpler, more focused Home screen.
• Cheaper first month on the monthly plan for new subscribers.
• Fixes and polish throughout.
2.3.3 Oct 10
Let Solon swear. If you're 18 or over, Roast me can now use strong language. It's off by default: turn it on in Solon under Who's talking, then Roast me, and confirm your age.
Also: a link on "Why this number" to talk it through with Atlas, group goal withdrawals now show in the goal history and chat, and a softer payday note on Safe to spend.
2.3.2 Oct 7
Roast Me. Tell Solon how to talk to you: Gentle, Balanced, or Roast Me, where he calls out your spending and doesn't hold back. Switch any time in Profile or in Solon's chat.
Logging is faster: one simple expense form, amount first, "Yesterday" in one tap, and Undo if you slip.
A safe-to-spend number you can trust: it now handles weekend paydays, clock changes and days you didn't log, and one tap shows why it's that number.
Try the Strategic Audit free once, plus a free try of Nearby, Money Scan and a Solon call. And a simpler Stash Pro page.
New daily balance check-in: tell Stash what's in your account and your safe-to-spend stays honest.
Goal priority now means the same thing everywhere, new goals are quicker to set up, and Build from spending keeps the budget you already set.
Tap any transaction in Activity to edit it, and the overdraft tile now opens the account it belongs to. Invite links work even if you open them signed out.
Friends now live on Home, Atlas gives shorter answer-first replies, you can stop waiting on a slow reply, and lots of fixes.
2.3.1 Oct 5
A simpler start: tell Stash what's in your bank and when your money lands, and get one number you can spend each day.
Split bills: payment screenshots now open right in the app, and you'll see when someone says they've paid.
Atlas and Solon give clearer, more accurate answers, in your language.
With Face ID lock on, your balances stay hidden in the app switcher.
Plus budget, dashboard and shopping list improvements, and bug fixes.
2.3.0 Sep 25
Meet Recap — a new, high-energy character for Solon's voice and Roast Me. Pick him (or any of our six characters) in Profile.
Ask Siri: log an expense, check your next subscription, call Solon, or hear your daily safe-to-spend — hands-free.
The home screen widget is private by default and only reveals your numbers after you unlock it.
Bug fixes and performance improvements.
2.2.6 Sep 16
Stash is now built around one number: days of money left. The home screen leads with it, Solon knows it when you call, and the parts of the app students didn't use have been tidied away. Fewer features, the right ones.
2.2.5 Sep 12
Bug fixes and reliability improvements, including more accurate receipt scanning.
2.2.4 Sep 10
Make it yours. Pick the colour of your daily safe-to-spend — the hero number, your account rings and the home-screen widget all follow it. Tap the hero in edit mode to choose.
Log a spend in seconds. The quick-expense sheet opens on the amount with the number pad already up, suggests merchants you actually use, remembers what you last spent at each, and categorises typed names for you.
Shake to log, properly. Shake-to-log now works reliably across devices instead of only some of the time.
A clearer balance card. With one account linked, Stash shows that account on its own instead of an identical "All accounts" page beside it.
Better answers about the last 3 months. Ask Atlas to break down three months of spending and you get a real three-month report — categories, shares and merchants for the period you asked about, not the last 30 days.
Mention anyone in a shared goal. Type @ in a goal chat to tag the people you're saving with, not just Atlas and Solon — including members who haven't posted yet.
Pots stays put in your navigation, and our support address is now support@stashai.co.uk.
2.2.3 Sep 9
A place for your overdraft. Add a credit card, loan or student overdraft under Profile › Money tools › Debts & overdraft and Stash shows what it costs you each month and the order to clear it.
Bills & Subscriptions, tidied. Every subscription shows its name, tap one to change or remove it, and the list refreshes on its own.
Friends, where you'd look for them. Split a bill or save towards a goal together — it's now one tap from your Money card.
Answers in the app. A new FAQ under Profile covers subscriptions, debts and overdrafts, sharing with friends, Stash Pro and your data.
Plus: a simpler paywall with a one-time Lifetime option, a fresher Profile, quieter home cards, and dozens of fixes.
2.2.2 Sep 8
Fixed an issue where the keyboard could dismiss unexpectedly while editing your monthly budget. Plus smarter AI responses and general improvements.

Improved money conversations with Solon, smoother onboarding, and refreshed tax guidance for more regions. Bug fixes and performance improvements.

Paid by the hour? Stash now works the way your job actually does.
• Choose Hourly income in onboarding or Profile, and set your rate, your usual weekly hours, and exactly when you get paid — weekly, biweekly or monthly, on any weekday.
• Before each payday, Stash asks how many hours you actually worked. Your pay is worked out from those real hours, never from an average — so a short week lands as a short week, not a guess.
• Optional reminder the day before payday so logging your hours takes seconds.
Time-Travel Simulator now runs any what-if you throw at it, including purchases you can't cover yet, and tells you the shortfall and what it does to your goals.
