Bookmark is a Bible reading app built around Professor Grant Horner's Bible Reading System — one of the most effective methods for reading through Scripture consistently.
Each day you read one chapter from each of 10 book groups, with each group cycling through its books independently. This means you're always reading in multiple parts of the Bible at once — Old Testament history, Psalms, Proverbs, the Gospels, the Epistles, and more — and no two days ever feel the same.

• Daily Reading Plan — See your chapters for the day at a glance and track your progress with a simple day counter.
• In-App Bible Reader — Read directly in the app with the King James Version included for free. Download the Bible in Basic English (BBE) for an additional translation option.
• Reader Customization — Choose your font, text size, line spacing, and justification. Switch between light and dark mode. Everything adjusts in real time with a live preview.
• Verse Highlights — Tap the heart on any verse while reading to save it. Your saved verses from today's reading appear on your home screen so you can revisit them throughout the day.
• Book Group Customization — Each of the 10 reading groups is fully editable. Add or remove books from any group, rename groups, and drag to reorder them to fit your own reading goals.
• Notifications — Set a daily reminder to keep your reading streak going.
• Free Account or Guest Mode — Sign up for a free account to back up your progress across devices, or use the app without an account and keep everything stored locally.
Horner's system is designed for people who want more than a one-year read-through plan. Because each group cycles at its own pace, you'll read the New Testament and Psalms far more often than Genesis, naturally emphasizing the parts of Scripture you need most.
Bookmark keeps the system simple — no streaks to stress about, no gamification. Just open the app, read your chapters, and mark the day as done.

- Previously, Bible access was limited to only the daily reading chapters. This restriction has been removed, giving you complete freedom to browse and study the entire Bible whenever you wish.
