- Find answers to common questions from the new FAQ link in Settings. - A photo you remove from a visit no longer comes back after saving. - On tablets, iPads and foldables, the app now rotates with your device and keeps screens comfortably centred instead of stretching edge to edge. Restaurant photos are no longer cropped to a thin strip. - Restaurant names now appear next to pins on the map, so you can see which place is which without tapping. In crowded areas names may disappear; zooming in brings them back. - Tapping a restaurant in the search list now opens it first time, even with the keyboard up, and search no longer autocorrects restaurant names. Scrolling the list now hides the keyboard. - On iPhone, tapping a map pin in a crowded area now opens that restaurant's details bubble, instead of jumping to a pin next to it. - If our servers have a hiccup while you're saving changes, the app now waits and tries again later instead of giving up, so visits and edits you make during an outage aren't lost. - Opening Report a problem without typing anything no longer leaves an empty "Draft restored" form for next time. - Searching for something like "ramen" now looks in the area you're viewing on the map, not just around you. Move the map and tap "Search this area" to search somewhere new, even with location turned off. - When you change restaurant while logging a visit, the dish list now shows only the new restaurant's dishes, never the one you picked before. - Tap any photo in a journal entry, including the overall photo, to view it full screen, then swipe through every photo from that visit. Dish photos show the dish's name.

When a search can't get through, it now says so in plain language instead of showing a technical error. If one photo from an edit can't be uploaded, the other photos from that edit now upload instead of being dropped along with it. When the app is reading an online menu or a menu photo, the restaurant page now shows its progress and updates dishes and photo status automatically. If it is still working, you can refresh there to check again. Tapping Done after adding a restaurant now takes you back to where you started, instead of to the filled-in form where saving again added a duplicate. The same fix applies when you tap View after adding a restaurant: going back from its page no longer lands on the filled-in form. If the map can't find your location, it now says so and lets you try again — separate from the message you see when location access itself is turned off.

Fixed: Saved restaurant details now open immediately from the device.

The Face ID prompt now explains what Face ID is used for, and the app no longer asks for microphone access it never used. If finding your location gets stuck, the map's discovery section now tells you instead of staying empty with no explanation. Editing a restaurant you added while offline now waits for that restaurant to finish syncing, instead of failing and losing your edit. The button on your recent dishes now says "Review again" — it opens a new visit with that dish ready to rate, which is what it always did. When a menu suggestion turns out to have been rejected or replaced by a newer one, the app now tells you that instead of saying the menu was linked. Dishes are now marked with a small tick or dash icon instead of a text label, leaving more room for the dish name. Search now opens straight to the map, so nearby places are the first thing you see. The list is still one tap away. While offline, the map now says it is showing only your saved restaurants. Pan or zoom the map and tap "Search this area" to see restaurants where you're looking, not just where you are. Small buttons, filters, rating stars and close/remove controls are now easier to tap throughout the app. Photos you add to a visit while offline now save with the visit and upload once you're back online. Attaching a photo to a visit while offline no longer risks the whole visit if that photo can't finish uploading later, and swapping a photo before you're back online no longer leaves a stray duplicate. "Search for online menu" now also appears when editing a visit. Finding a restaurant's Uber Eats menu is now one tap: Search for online menu looks it up for you, no more copying links out of Google. Description boxes and the overall comment on a visit now grow as you type, so a third line no longer disappears out of view. Visits logged by picking a date now keep the day you picked, wherever you are. Previously the date could shift by a day depending on your time zone. Rate dishes straight from the menu: tap a dish, pick your stars, add a note, then Continue Entry saves it and opens the visit so you can add more dishes or a photo. Dishes you rate on the same day are grouped into one visit in your Journal. Edits to a visit that is still syncing now wait their turn instead of being sent too early. Two edits to the same visit now reach the server in the order you made them, so an earlier edit can no longer overwrite a later one — and rating a dish no longer discards a rating or comment you saved moments before. Changes you make while a sync is still running now go through as soon as it finishes, instead of waiting until you next reopen the app. Opening a restaurant's visits from your Journal no longer shows the restaurant name twice — the header now simply says "Entries". On Android, the "Log a visit" button on a restaurant's page no longer hides behind the navigation bar. Search results no longer reappear after you clear your search while a lookup is still running. Adding a restaurant while offline no longer shows an error for a restaurant that was in fact saved and queued to sync, and its menu items all save with it. If one of your restaurants is merged with its duplicate, the app now follows the move: your visits, dishes and menu photos stay with the surviving restaurant, and removing it while offline still goes through. An offline edit to the old restaurant's name or details won't carry over, since the surviving restaurant is shared with everyone who saved it.

This version needs iOS 16.4 or later. If your iPhone is on an older version, you'll stay on 1.0.6. See your restaurants on a map. Switch between list and map from the Search tab to find what's nearby and what's on your side of town. You can add a restaurant back from Search after removing it — tap the star on any search result to add or remove, and it updates straight away. Tap any search result to see the restaurant before you commit to it — you no longer have to add it to your list just to look. The star is how you add or remove it. The app now always looks the same, whether or not your phone is in dark mode, so the status bar and every screen stay legible. On smaller phones, the sign-in and sign-up screens now scroll properly, so the "Sign Up" and "Forgot password?" links are always reachable instead of being cut off. Deleting a restaurant, dish or visit you added while offline now works instead of failing every time — and it stays deleted rather than reappearing once you're back online. Signing in with Apple or Google with no connection now says "No internet connection. Check your connection and try again." instead of showing raw technical error text.

- Menu prices now show in each restaurant's own currency instead of always showing dollars, so a place in Tokyo reads in yen and one in Paris reads in euros. Currencies that don't use cents no longer show a stray ".00". - Adding a restaurant by hand now asks which country it's in, pre-filled from your location and searchable by name. - If you search too quickly and hit a limit, you'll now see a friendly "Too many searches. Please wait a moment." instead of a raw technical message. - Fixed a rare case where a menu photo refused to be deleted, coming back every time you removed it.

New cuisine options added, including Winery, Brewery, and Asian – and cuisines suggested by Google are no longer dropped. Session expiry now signs you out cleanly instead of showing errors. Home screen's rating card has a new star icon and a shorter title. Fixed pasting Uber Eats links copied from Google search results.

* Adding a restaurant's online menu is easier now — the app shows step-by-step tips for finding the Uber Eats link, plus a one-tap search button. * When a restaurant search comes up empty, it's no longer a dead end: add the place yourself (its name is filled in for you) or tap "Search by name instead" to find restaurants anywhere by name — even ones you've never saved. A quick "add manually" link also sits beneath your search results. * Not sure what to log? We now suggest popular dishes for the cuisine when a place has no menu yet — tap to add. * Fixed the "Fetch Online Menu" dialog sometimes showing a link you'd copied for a different restaurant. * Deleting a menu image now works while you're offline too — it finishes syncing once you're back online, and you'll get a clear message if a delete genuinely fails. * Menu photos now live in one simple gallery — add up to 4 per restaurant, see at a glance whether we've read the menu from each photo, and ask us to take another look if we got it wrong. * Fixed pasting some Uber Eats menu links.
