Temporal Accumulation transforms time-lapse image sequences into ethereal, long-exposure videos. Feed it hundreds or thousands of frames from a locked camera, and it accumulates them over time, blending motion into ghostly, molasses-like trails that reveal how the world moves when you compress hours into seconds. The name is the method: each new frame is blended into a running composite with an exponential moving average, so motion pools into light while static structure stays sharp. WHAT IT DOES - Reads image sequences (JPEG, TIFF, PNG) from any folder - Applies exponential moving average accumulation across a configurable trail length (2 to 1000 frames) - Outputs ProRes 4444, ProRes 422, HEVC, H.264, lossless 16-bit TIFF, or PNG frame sequences KEY FEATURES - Trail Length: Control how many frames blend together (2–1000) - Brightness compensation: Adjust exposure of the accumulated result - Exposure normalization: Automatically matches ISO, shutter, and aperture across frames using EXIF data - Deflicker: Gaussian-smoothed luminance correction eliminates timelapse flicker - Color: exposure, gain, contrast, temperature, tint and saturation on the composite - Render Range: Process a subset of your sequence - Real-time preview: Scrub through frames with live parameter feedback - Preview quality: Fast, Balanced or Full while you work; final renders are always full quality BUILT FOR PRO WORKFLOWS Temporal Accumulation is designed for photographers and filmmakers who shoot time-lapses and want to create something beyond a standard sped-up video. The accumulation technique produces a painterly, contemplative quality: light trails, ghost figures, weather patterns dissolving into texture. Everything runs on your Mac. No accounts, no network, no telemetry. Requires macOS 14.0 or later.

- Pure black frames (a lens cap, a fade to black) are now rendered instead of being skipped as unreadable. - When a folder holds two files with the same name (for example IMG_1.jpg and IMG_1.tif), the app uses one of them and says how many it set aside, instead of rendering both and overwriting output frames. - Resuming a stopped image-sequence render now rewrites any earlier frames that were deleted from the output folder.
