"What can I make tonight with what I actually have?" Chive builds your pantry automatically as you shop, then uses it to help you cook with what you have. It works by combining your shopping list, pantry, and recipes into one system that keeps itself up to date. A SHOPPING LIST THAT WORKS FOR YOU Sorted by store aisle, with price tracking, predictive restocking suggestions based on your shopping routine, and shared live with your home for co-shopping in real time. When you cook a recipe or run low on a staple, it flows back onto your list with one tap. Add items on the go using our Siri integration. Prefer delivery? Send your list to the Instacart® app in a tap. A PANTRY THAT BUILDS ITSELF When you shop using Chive, everything you buy lands in the right spot in your pantry automatically, with best-before dates and nutrition. You can also add items to your pantry by taking a photo of groceries on your counter, scanning a barcode or a receipt, or even dictating a list. SAVE RECIPES FROM ANYWHERE Import recipes from Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, a link, a screenshot, or a photo of a cookbook page. Cook hands-free with an optional voice assistant that knows the recipe you're making and can offer cooking tips. Ask Chive to modify any recipe and save your version. Smart collections organize themselves based on your preferences as your cookbook grows. ASK CHIVE ANYTHING Chive knows your pantry, recipes, and the preferences you share, so it answers what a general chatbot can't. Ask "what can I cook tonight?" and get recipes you can start right now from trusted sources. Say "Add the ingredients for mushroom risotto to my list." It checks your kitchen, scales to your servings, and confirms before it acts. SIRI, WIDGETS, AND ONE-TAP ADDS Add to your grocery list with Siri, from a Shortcut, or from a widget on your Home Screen or Lock Screen. Quick Add sits in Control Center. Up Next is rebuilt. Your meal plan and your pool of ideas are now two clear shapes instead of three states. Tap a the up next icon to plan a recipe for a day, or leave it in the pool until you decide. Add any ingredient to your grocery list. Every ingredient row can go on the list now, not just the ones you are missing. Rows you have already handled show an On list pill, and close matches are marked so you can judge them yourself. One way to log a cook. "Made it" replaces "Cooked", and the two old paths are now a single Log cook entry. Your history and grocery list update the moment you finish. Tell us what you think without leaving the app. Ask Chive can now send feedback, feature requests, and bug reports straight to us. Also fixed - Canadian carts open on instacart.ca instead of the US site - Leftovers get the right made-on and expiry dates in your own time zone - Leftovers and homemade dishes no longer appear as things to restock - The expiry days field in Settings can be cleared and retyped
