PRIVACY AND SECURITY
SwipePass works fully offline. Zero network calls at any time. No account, no sign-up, no email. No cloud storage, no sync, no history. We do not use Firebase, Crashlytics, Google Analytics, or any third-party SDK.
Your generated password lives on the screen until you copy it. Once you leave the app, it is gone. What isn't collected cannot be leaked.
Each character is derived from the real movement and timing of your finger across the screen — physical randomness from your touch, not pseudo-randomness from a software algorithm.

A PURE GENERATOR
SwipePass generates passwords. It does not store them, sync them, or fill them into login forms. You decide where to keep each generated password — iCloud Keychain, the password manager of your choice, or somewhere else. For full password management, pair SwipePass with a dedicated manager.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
• Does the iPhone have a password generator? Yes — iCloud Keychain suggests passwords inside Safari and supported apps. SwipePass is a separate tool that works standalone: no Apple account, no keychain binding, any length you want.
• Is the iPhone password generator safe? iCloud Keychain's suggestions are stored encrypted and synced with iCloud if you enable it. SwipePass goes one step further — everything happens on your device and nothing is transmitted or synced anywhere.
• How to make a strong Apple ID password? Apple requires at least 8 characters with uppercase, lowercase, and a digit. Build a 16+ character one here, then paste it into Apple's change-password form.
• What are ambiguous characters in a password? Characters that look alike in many fonts: 0 and O, 1 and lowercase l. SwipePass can exclude them, so a password you write down is never misread.
• Is 16 characters a strong password? Yes, for almost any account, provided it is random and mixes character classes. Set the length to 16 and SwipePass builds it from your swipe.
• How long should a password be? NIST guidance is at least 8 characters; most guides recommend 12 or more, and 16 or more for Apple ID, banking and email.
• Does SwipePass work offline? Yes, entirely. The app makes zero network calls.
Each password is unique because every swipe is unique — real physical randomness from your finger, not software pseudo-randomness.
