Casual World Cup fan here, and Fanish nails the live experience. The in-match events keep me up to speed on what’s happening without burying me in numbers-just the moments that matter, in plain language. I actually follow the whole match now instead of zoning out. Perfect balance for casual fans
Developer Response
This is the exact experience we chase — the moments that matter, in plain language, without drowning you in numbers. Hearing that you follow the whole match now instead of zoning out is the best possible sign we got the balance right for casual fans. Thanks for tuning in, and enjoy the rest of the World Cup.
New but great

I really like this app. There are parts where you can tell that the app is new, but as someone who really doesn't know anything about the World Cup and has been wanting to watch the games, I found this super helpful and actually fun to use
Developer Response
Thank you — "actually fun to use" is high praise, especially from someone coming to the World Cup fresh, which is exactly who we build for. And you're right that some parts still show their age; we're a new app and polishing hard, so those rough edges are getting smoother every release. If any of them stood out to you, we'd love to hear which — it helps us prioritize. Enjoy the rest of the tournament.
Pretty darn good ish

I like this app. It's cool to see a thoughtful take on how to make sports more accessible beyond just meme accounts on instagram and twitter. I also like playing around with talk the ish. Kinda fun and I learn things without having to actually becoming a die hard fan.
Developer Response
Thank you — "a thoughtful take on making sports more accessible beyond the meme accounts" is basically the mission statement we'd put on the wall. That's exactly the gap we're trying to fill. Glad Talk the ish is landing too; learning things without having to go full die-hard is the whole idea. Thanks for playing around with it, and enjoy.
Cool app!

I’m a gay who doesn’t watch sports but the app makes it easier to get the gist for the world cup and F1. It’s easier than random google searches. Excited for tennis or golf to be supported because I do actually occasionally watch those.
Developer Response
Beating random Google searches is a bar we're proud to clear — glad Fanish is making the World Cup and F1 easy to get the gist of. Good news on your ask: tennis is already rolling in, so you're covered for the next one you tune into, and we're always weighing what sport to add next. Thanks for being here, and enjoy the ride.
Our biggest jump yet. Ask ish. A better live match experience — now end to end, from kickoff to the final whistle.
Ask ish.
• Ask ish anything — a new sports Q&A tool right on the Hub.
Follow every match, start to finish.
• Track the knockout bracket from the Round of 32 to the Final
• A live brief that updates as the action unfolds
• When the whistle blows, a Postgame roundup breaks down what just happened
Smoother to get around.
• Swipe between Sports, Hub, and Profile — and as always swipe the fan/ish toggle to switch modes
• Keep your place — scroll the feed, open an article, and come back exactly where you left off
• Recent searches, resume-where-you-left-off search, and snappier result taps
Plus cleaner match stats, "updated" timestamps on briefs, keyboard-aware sheets, and the usual round of fixes and polish.
