Proof creates tamper-evident, timestamped records of anything you need to document. Take a photo or video, add notes, and Proof seals it with a cryptographic hash — a unique digital fingerprint that makes it virtually impossible to alter the record after the fact. Whether you're photographing an apartment before moving in, documenting a car accident, recording an agreement, or tracking the condition of something you're lending — Proof gives you a credible, shareable record with a verifiable timestamp. What makes Proof different Every proof is sealed with a SHA-256 cryptographic hash computed from your photos, videos, timestamp, GPS location, and notes. If any detail changes after sealing, the hash won't match — making tampering obvious. A hash chain links each proof to the one before it, creating a lightweight audit trail across your entire vault. Bug Fixes & Improvements - Fixed a bug where deleting all proofs and reopening the app would restore them unexpectedly - Your name and email in Backup & Restore now persist after reinstalling or updating the app - Added a Cancel option when deleting a proof, so accidental taps are easier to dismiss - Backup files are now clearly labeled "backup" and exported proof files are labeled "export" with the date Privacy – Updated privacy and data retention policy (for acknowledgments) - Your device's push token is now removed from our server as soon as your acknowledgement notification is delivered - Acknowledged records are automatically deleted from our server after 2 years
