Back up your setup, decide what Cloudflare's proxy does, and copy log entries when you need to report something. CONFIGURATION BACKUP • Export your provider setup to a file, and restore it on another device or after a reinstall. Backups work between the iPhone, iPad and Mac apps. • Credentials can be included. They are always encrypted with a passphrase you choose — DynDnsPulse never writes an API token to a file in plain text. Without that passphrase the backup cannot be restored, and it cannot be reset. • Import as Merge (only providers you don't already have) or Replace All, and see exactly what happened. • Your provider list now lives in a real file instead of the app's preferences, where it was far easier to lose. Existing setups move across on first launch. • Settings now reports credentials left behind by providers you removed, and lets you clear them deliberately. Nothing is ever deleted on its own. CLOUDFLARE PROXY • Each Cloudflare provider now chooses how the proxy is handled: leave it as set in Cloudflare, always off, or always on. • The proxy decides what the world gets back when it looks up your domain — a Cloudflare address, or this device's. Firewall allowlists, VPN peers and SSH rules need it off, otherwise you are admitting Cloudflare instead of your machine. A site hosted at home usually wants it on. ACTIVITY LOG • Press and hold an entry under Recent Activity to copy it with its timestamp — the full text, not the shortened version on screen.

This release fixes DNS updates that could fail over and over with a Cloudflare error about an identical record already existing. • If a provider was set up with only the hostname ("myMac" instead of "myMac.example.com"), the app looked for the wrong record name, then tried to create a record that already existed. The domain is now completed automatically. • An IP update no longer switches off Cloudflare's proxy or resets a custom TTL. A record kept behind the proxy — so your home address stays out of public DNS — had that quietly turned off on every IP change. Both settings are now left exactly as you set them. • On domains with more than 100 DNS records, only the first 100 were ever read, so a record beyond that looked missing. The whole zone is now read. • A provider stuck on the same error no longer notifies you every five minutes. You are told once, and again only if the error changes or the provider recovers. • Before a record is created, the activity log now notes what was searched for and what the zone returned — so a failure explains itself.

New in 1.1.0 • Choose your IP-check services: Settings now lists the fallback providers, so you can reorder them to put your preferred one first, or switch off any that don't work on your network. Your own IP-check URL is still always tried first. • Live status: the Dashboard status card now counts down to the next automatic check, updating every second. • Clearer VPN status: the VPN state is now part of the status card and tells "updates paused by VPN" apart from "VPN active, still updating". • Faster fallback: IP-address checks now give up on an unresponsive service after 8 seconds instead of waiting up to a minute. • Fixes: the "Last checked" time no longer briefly reads "in 0 seconds", and the rating prompt now appears as intended.

This release fixes a DNS-update bug and includes the VPN reliability improvements from 1.0.5: • Fixed a case where a DNS update could fail with a Cloudflare error ("Content for A record must be a valid IPv4 address") because an IPv6 address was picked up for the IPv4 record. IP checks now verify the address family. • "Update Now" always runs when you tap it — even if automatic updates are off or paused for a VPN. • The Dashboard now clearly shows "Paused — VPN active" while a VPN pauses updates. • More resilient IP checks: if the primary service can't be reached (e.g. under some VPNs), the app automatically tries several alternatives — including a DNS-free Cloudflare endpoint — before reporting a problem, with a clear message. • Settings now shows the IP-check fallback order, and the activity log notes when a fallback recovered a check. • Activity-log messages and notifications are now consistently in English.

• Fixed background updates: on some iOS versions the automatic DNS refresh could stop working, or the app could crash when reopened. Background updates are now reliable. • Rate DynDnsPulse with Apple's native rating sheet, right in the app. • New Support section in Settings: report a bug, request a feature, or leave a rating.

What's New • New: Notification toggle in Settings → General — enable or disable update notifications without revoking system permission. Bug Fixes • VPN detection no longer shows a false "VPN active" warning when no VPN is connected. • Cloudflare: domain names with uppercase letters are now matched correctly. • Cloudflare: fixed error 81058 when multiple A/AAAA records exist for the same domain — the app now checks if the current IP is already present before updating. • Cloudflare: error messages now show the actual error code and description from the API.
