NewsFlow is a news discovery and community discussion app. Users can read trending stories, open full source articles, view AI-assisted summaries, post to the community, comment, repost, follow profiles, and manage their own account entirely inside the app.

KEY AREAS OF THE APP
1. Trending news
- Open the app and land on the main feed
- Tap any story card to open the story detail screen.
- Tap the headline or “Open Article” to open the original source article inside the app.
- Story actions such as upvote, downvote, comment, bookmark, and repost are available on story detail surfaces.
1. For You / personalized feed
- Personalized recommendations are shown in the “For You” area.
- This feed includes stories, community posts, comments, and profile suggestions based on follows and activity.
1. Community posts and comments
- Users can create posts from their profile.
- Open any post to view comments and discussion.
- Three-dot menus are available on content surfaces for moderation actions.
- Report is available for other users’ content.
- Delete is available for the signed-in user’s own content.
1. Profiles
- Users can open their own profile and public profiles.
- Profile tabs include posts, reposts, comments, bookmarks, and related activity depending on the profile context.
- Follow/unfollow is available on other users’ public profiles.
1. Pluto AI assistant
- The Pluto assistant is available from supported story surfaces and assistant entry points in the app.
- Pluto provides AI-generated summaries and assistance related to news content.
ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT
1. Sign out
- Profile > Settings > Sign Out
1. Permanent account deletion
- Profile > Settings > Review deletion > Permanently Delete Account
- The deletion screen clearly states that deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
- This flow is fully available inside the app and does not require contacting support.

NewsFlow includes user-generated posts and comments and follows App Review expectations for UGC by providing:

- account-level enforcement for abusive behavior
